I completely disagree. Besides being a patient that is looking for something more than fleeting moments with a person who did her surgery, he was paid GOOD MONEY for doing so. And part of that procedure is being available to talk to the patient. He owes her that much. This isn't about Grateful and her circumstances. This is about yet another doctor who is shirking his "bedside manner" and, imo, collecting the check and nothing more. She's entitled to talk to him, and he owes that to her.

I will be needing to have my hiatal hernia repaired when I get my band in a few weeks. I already knew I had one, so when they said they would have me do a barium swallow to see IF I had one... Well, I did that last Wednesday. I don't know how bad I have one, but was also wondering about the procedure (haven't talked at length to the doc yet). Does anybody know if it requires a bit longer stay in the hospital, like one full day versus outpatient? Also, do they just access it via the laproscopic cuts they make anyway? I've already told those at work that that is the surgery I am having (haven't mentioned the band) and was wondering if they do it via the incisions or down the throat somehow.

Secondly, in case I haven't made myself clear enough, my dislike of Barack and/or the democrat policies they hold so dear does not automatically mean that I am walking lock step behind McCain. IF I vote for him, I can guarantee you that I will be holding my nose the whole way. For some reason it seems as if when somebody is anti Obama, they are somehow embracing McCain.
