  1. BubbleButt can have it. I'd rather let her ignorance be the last word to ring out anyway.
  2. Yeah, I forgot that beers and other carbonated drinks will probably be a big no-no for me very soon anyway. As I think it is for bandsters in general. Chocolate is fantastic! Or if you want to stay away from the whole calorie thing, bring the male stripper. :cursing:
  3. Why is it you lie? You say you're bored, you don't like the information I post about your messiah, yet you seek out my posts -- NOW just to :::wink5:::. Very mature. And what was that you said about me and my big girl panties? Be careful, otherwise you could be considered trolling at this point. But then again, I guess there's nothing you can argue about WAAAAHbama any longer. This is all you have left. Guess that bubble moved further north. :cursing:
  4. No, what you're doing is coloring him with your own speculation and guesswork. And frankly, I want a representative where I don't have to work him like a Rubiks Cube, one where his or her stance is VERY obvious and VERY up front. Maybe that's why y'all hate Palin so much. She's an open book and there's no having to "dig deeper" to figure out what she's about.
  5. That sounds like a lot of guessing and speculating -- answering his non-action the way you WANT to believe he thinks. However, he has proven he can't even make a decision, yes or no. What about when we're attacked again? What will he do? Sit there and say "no vote"? Heck, he won't even pledge allegiance to the flag because he doesn't want to "pick sides." Hell, if he's not on OUR side, whose side is he on? Why can't the guy make a decision? Was the teleprompter broken or something, so he didn't know what to say??
  6. And yet you still keep coming back! lol
  7. Probably blacklist MSNBC like they have any other station that has dared to upset WAAAAAHbama.
  8. Uh-huh... :cursing: You seem hardly bored since you keep coming back and working yourself up in a lather. As for the big girl panites, the only one I've seen getting upset is you. You're nearly shrill. Take a deep breath and, oh I dunno, get over yourself already.
  9. As you keep proving mine. lol Yes, I know, I posed hard questions. The Obama playbook says to slaughter the messenger and then storm off in a huff. Way to go. By the way, I went to the "WHY are people voting for McCain" thread and in 30 pages, not once did you come down against anybody attacking those on the right. Why is that? Unless you are more biased and one-sided than you give yourself credit for, that is. But then again, I could see that without even having to go look. :cursing:
  10. What's to get over?? I'm simply posting my viewpoint as you and others have. Why is it that the left always wants to silence the opposition? Y'all are lilke little commies running around, trying to bully those who disagree with you. Why is that? Who ever said I was? ROTFLMAO! Uh, Kettle? Yeah, Pot here. You're black. LOL Couldn't care less. No, what I see is anybody clinging onto that socialist like he's the second coming of Christ really has a screw loose. If the shoe fits, I'm sorry, but I didn't put you there. As for McCain, he's simply what the democrats were about 20 years ago. He's not my representative. Good for you. I always have. That's why I don't like either of them. Please show me where I have "whined" about you calling him McDummy. Frankly I don't care. But what I DID say in one post this morning is that the left is constantly calling those they disagree with derogatory names. Why is that? Why are SO MANY on the oh-so-tolerant left such a hateful, name-calling bunch? They can't simply disagree with the person or the issues, they have to call them names. It's like children on a playground. You really do hate opposition, don't you? Why is that? Anybody who doesn't sing Hail Obama, Messiah of Mine is labled and derided by the likes of you. I guess that's what happens when one drinks too much of the kool-aid. Just can't handle an opposing view. Very sad. By the way, have you come against anybody in the anti-McCain threads who have been hurling insults at the right? Even once? I betcha you haven't.
  11. I didn't write this, and I don't have the name of the person to give credit to: America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. --Abraham Lincoln Friends and Associates do mean something… VIRGINS do not hang around with prostitutes; PATRIOTS do not hang around with terrorists. It IS that simple!!! William Ayers - American Terrorist Frank Davis – mentor and radical Communist/sexual pervert Raila Odinga - Cousin, Radical Islamist Raul Reyes - Columbian Terrorist Antonio Rezko - Felon/Slum Lord Professor Khalidi - Muslim Terrorist Supporter and got Obama into Harvard…. Reverend Wright - Racist Supporter/Preacher, Anti-American Reverend James Meeks - Racist Reverend Louis Farrakhan - Racist Nation of Islam / Faux Preacher Nadhmi Auchi - Muslim Billionaire Sohaib Abassi - Muslim Millionaire America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. --Abraham Lincoln
  12. I just realized I didn't put in my disclaimer: I didn't write it. I can only speak for myself, but for me, it may be similar to how I feel the conservatives have abandoned my party. So too have the churches abandoned many Christians. Apathy and apostasy is rampant in the church, and people like myself see it. We are disillusioned with MAN and how he has bastardized Christianity. Yes, I've noticed. Instead, they want an even more extreme socialist to run the show. I consider many who are so gung ho for him as being the type with their hands out hoping that the messiah will bless them with some of my money. I have heard the left call those of us who want to pay less taxes as being selfish. Instead, what I see are the voters who are voting for him with one hand while they hold the other hand out for their stipend as being the selfish ones. They would rather steal from the hard-working individuals than go out and do it themselves. That is the ultimate in selfishness. I agree: I hear you, but I wholly disagree with your take on issues. Obama scares the bejezus out of me because he knows nothing, has done nothing, and his only answer to everything is to make us a socialist nation, taking away people's right to capitalism. And the name-calling you level at these people is VERY indicative of the left. Y'all can't just seem to disagree -- you have to attack. More from the oh-so-tolerant left, I see.
  13. Oh good Lord! The problem today is ANYbody thinking that ANY candidate is going to be the savior or messiah! They act as if the president really has all this power, which they don't. People today are all too worried about "getting theirs" or what the government is gonna give them or do for them. Too many people sitting around with their hand out, asking what Big Daddy Gubment has for them. People have turned into sheep -- waiting to be told what to do, when, and how fast. That's the "personal responsibility" part of my issue with people. When we have a country that has to wait on everything, then you take thinking out of the mix. I am a transplant from Houston, and I watched in amazement as Ike headed for the gulf and people literally complained that they weren't TOLD to evacuate and then blamed the government for that! I'm sorry, but if I saw a hurricane the size of Texas barreling toward me, NOBODY would have to tell me to get the hell outta Dodge!
  14. That's MY short-term goal too!! 'Cept I don't have double D's -- single D's here (but they were once nice, perky C's :wink5:). As for "Big Medicine" -- great way to lose 12 pounds instantaneously -- NOT! Hey, so long as when I get down to my ideal goal I don't have to lift my belly flap like a skirt to sit down, I'll be happy. :cursing:
  15. LOL, yeah, looks like she approved me even though... lol And what's so funny is at least in a general sense, it sounds like you and I agree more than we disagree. I don't adhere completely to ALL the conservative stances -- but my primary issues are less government (and government intrusion), less taxes (and fiscal responsibility by our government), gun ownership, secure borders, and personal responsibility. Though I have my own view on abortion, I don't believe the government should get involved. That's about it. Pretty simple, no? That's why I say nobody represents me since the conservatives have pretty much abandoned their base. I WILL check out those threads in here. It is a large site, so it can be hard to find exactly what I need -- or even know what it is I should be thinking about. I am already familiar with many things pre- and post-op (the doctor's office gave me a link to a website that goes through many of the details about the procedure), but hearing from others is always better in my book. They are the ones experiencing it, so they can shed a whole nuther light on the matter. Thanks for directing me to those areas!
  16. Oh hell yeah! I thought you were bringing the beers!
  17. Sounds like we agree on many of the important things there, SNT. :smile2: And I consider the women's shelter a learning experience. I made it out stronger than I went in, so if that was the result, I can't see it as a negative part of my life, if that makes sense.
  18. Wow, you are one of the better recovery stories I've heard. I know to expect the worst and hope for the best, and it'll probably be in the middle somewhere. Then again, ANYthing's gotta be better than the comical struggle that ensues just trying to put on my socks and tennis shoes... :tt1: I'm guessing when the hospital is talking pre-op, it's just all the paperwork and other crap. I'm still waiting to hear the official go-ahead from the doc. They were supposed to get my psych eval on Monday, with a nod from the insurance company within a day after that. By Wednesday I hadn't heard anything, so I called. They had just gotten it and submitted it that morning. At this point I don't know what other pre-op stuff I will need to do. I know I'm just being impatient as I consider my doctor's office as being very good on communication. At my initial consult, they gave me a printout of what would happen in the beginning stages, whether self-pay or insurance. They gave me scrips for the barium swallow and the doctor's visit where I need the letter of necessity and bloodwork. So you walk out with everything you need, which I thought was great. I asked on Wednesday when I meet with the nutritionist, and the nurse said she is the nutritionist and we would do that pre-op. I'm guessing pre-op as in sometime before the surgery as opposed to the morning of. :smile2: I wish I understood what is gonna happen next a bit better, but I am doing my best not to be a pest. lol
  19. Acutally, I'm witcha on all of that. Wouldn't even THWAP your hand on the abused women's shelter. I was in need of one many years ago, and they can use all the help they can get. :tt1: Sounds like we could do a bang-up job. Hell, I could bring my dog and ask her to pick out stuff that's gotta go, and SHE could do a better job than the whole lot of 'em on the Hill... :smile2:
  20. HAHAHA!! You're a woman after my own heart. They make it sound like cutting all that pork is soooo hard. I bet a handful of us could do it over a long weekend and still take in a chick flick. :smile2: What I'm about to blow a gasket over is the thought that ANY of them will raise ANYbody's taxes while they have so much friggin pork in everything they do. WE must all do without more and more, yet the gravy train just keeps on keepin' on in DC. :tt1:
  21. that may be true for some. However, for me, I am not voting for him because he doesn't represent my beliefs. Then again, neither does McCain, but Obama doesn't represent them more. :smile2:
  22. I did ask, didn't I? Ugh... lol And like you, I can't wait for it to be over either. I think I'm actually looking more forward to no more ads, no more fliers, no more phone calls more this moment than I'm looking forward to my surgery date. :smile2: I got a call from the hospital today from pre-op. Of course they called my home (where I was not, *sigh*) so now I have to remember to call them Monday. Three weeks from today. It seems like three years. But like you, I bet FOUR weeks from today I will be so sick of liquids, I will scream too. :tt1: lol
  23. We agree, SickNTired -- the fair tax would be the most fair (duh :smile2:) way to go. I wholly support such a thing. Even the use/sales tax Steve is talking about would be acceptable to me.
  24. Hey, this is an anti-Obama thread. The anti-McCain thread is in here somewhere. :smile2: LOL
  25. Imo, that's not good leadership when over 90 percent of your "vote" is really a non-vote.
