  1. How do we know he didn't snuff granny for the sympathy vote?
  2. I never said he is less of a person. Nor did I mention his age. He is unqualified. He has done nothing. This is not on-the-job training, yet that's what he will be doing. I love the commercial: Would you fly in a plane when the pilot had never flown before? Would you hire a surgeon for your child who had never performed surgery before? Yet many are willing to put a person into the highest job of the land who has done nothing before.
  3. SOCIALISM IS ILLEGAL THEFT MADE LEGAL BY POLITICIANS, pure and simple.
  4. The ACLU would be all over it because they typically support criminals and bad people. All Criminal Liberties Union
  5. About McCain? I am ticked to no end that he has tried pushing to grant amnesty to all these illegals. Coming from a border state (as I did), he can SEE the devastation they do, the costs they incur, the businesses and hospitals that have been closed because of them. Legalizing them will not lessen the problem. I just have a problem with him not only being okay with illegals, but pushing for rights for them. Beyond that, I think he's a lot better than Obama, who has never done anything in his life.
  6. Thank you, you said it for me. I certainly don't consider the act for me and my marriage, but I can't figure out why people would go into an adult book store and then complain about all the risque stuff.
  7. Ohhhhhh, sounds good to me!!! Shoot, toss 'em in a pit and throw jellow on 'em. Based on what I know about Palin, I think Pelosi is toast.
  8. YAAAAY! You got MY vote!
  9. Not a problem. I get all you left-wingers confused, too. I could address BJean/clusk/green and nothing would be different.
  10. LOL, he did? Interesting... I wish Nostradamus would have predicted a good president for us.
  11. I just see some of the moderating as being subjective. Do you respect people who can take a stance against something when everybody these days wants to toss out buzz words like "bigot" and "racist" and "hater"? Do you respect people who can take the unpopular side of sticking to one's beliefs no matter how much others rail against them? Do you respect people with a belief system that differs from your own?
  12. You sound like you have a very good head on your shoulders. Try to focus on that. We all get offended, sometimes every day. Try not to let it get at you.
  13. Sorry, JWRN beat me to it. But for those who are offended, these people did no make this stuff up. They simply believe in and adhere to a doctrine that you don't believe. It is no different than how people hold as true certain political doctrines.
  14. Unless I missed something, what she posted was: Do you want to know if it's ok to smoke? Read what God has to say. "Don't harm your body in any way." Do you want to know if homosexuality should be allowed? Read what God has to say. "No, it is an abomination." Do you want to know if You should hang around with people who party? He says "Do not be unequally yoked with them." Do you want to know if abortion should be the mother's choice? God says that if you kill an unbirn baby, YOU are to be killed.(there it is, the death penalty)It is murder." (emphasis mine) Now, I can understand your upset, but she is referring to what God says about it. I'm not getting into the middle of right and wrong on these issues, but she is quoting.
  15. Very interesting, Susan. Had somebody from the right called somebody from the left a bigot or uneducated, you'd be doing your little moderator thing.
  16. I never said I was a Libertarian. I am a conservative, which McCain is not. I deride Obama more because I detest him more. Out of THESE two choices, I accept him less as POTUS. I can certainly rail on againts McCain since that is all you will apparently listen to, but what's the point? Y'all do it all so well. Carry on. :smile2:
  17. That's okay, I've been forewarned about a certain poster here and certainly don't want to see her get herself banned again. I will continue to talk with the mature posters here and ignore the trolling. Thank you for the gentle reminder.
  18. I never believe them when they promise anything. I always believe them, however, when they threaten to do things like bankrupt industries and spread the wealth. Usually works out to be more correct that way.
  19. All too real, that's for sure. :cool2:
  20. Won't need to. If the Obamanation wins, he and his socialist policies will be pissing on everyone plenty. He now thinks he can change the world. Silly little messiah. :cool2:
  21. Forty-six? REALLY? Wow... :cool2:
  22. I rest my case. :cool2:
  23. Couldn't care less. Who said I was trying to win anybody over? I have no "side" as I don't like either one. My goal was to get under the skin of people who think like you. And I've been making my master proud. :cool2: The sad thing is, I've seen how the leftists here have run off the opposition. And other than Gadget and myself, for the most part, you have very nearly succeeded in turning this into the Leftie Brigade. Why is that okay to you? What are you so scared of?
