  2. Hi everyone, I wanted to come back with an update since my last post in January. It’s been a really emotional and unexpected few months, and honestly, I wasn’t sure how or when I’d be able to share this. During Ramadan, I ended up losing around 3–4 kg, but not in the way I had planned or expected. I found out I was pregnant (which was such a happy surprise at the time), but I also had really strong food aversions. For almost a month, I could barely eat, and just focused on getting through each day. After Ramadan, things slowly started to feel a bit more normal. By the time I reached my 12-week appointment, I thought I was finally getting back on track physically and mentally. Unfortunately, that appointment brought the worst news I could have imagined — my baby’s heart had stopped. Since then, I’ve just been trying to process everything and take things one day at a time. It’s been incredibly hard, and right now my focus isn’t really on weight loss or progress, but just on healing and getting through this. I’m still grateful for the journey I started back in August and for this community. I’ll take things slowly from here and hopefully find my way back, both physically and emotionally. hope everyone is doing well x

  5. Since that post, my coach got me the workbook qnd ive been doing it and also got me a journal to write how it feels at the time of the craving. Life changing! Its like the sound reduced abit. I've had the perfect 2 weeks with pure mindfulness ... the workbook really did open my eyes that I do have a eating disorder 😕 so now I need to appreciate myself more for being here now and the progess and be in q happy place
  6. Yes. Im 17 months months post op bypass surgery..
  7. I’m really struggling lately and I need to be honest. Most days, I eat mindfully. I plan, I measure, I prioritise protein, I listen to my body. But the food noise is so loud now. Louder than I feel I can handle. It’s like my mind and body don’t care how mindful I am anymore. There’s one day a week where I completely mess up. Not hunger… just cravings. Eating even when I know I don’t need it, while I’m eating I’m already telling myself to stop — but I don’t. And that one day feels like it’s slowing all my progress. What scares me the most is regain. I’m terrified that this is how it starts. After it happens, the shame and guilt hit hard. I feel weak, out of control, disappointed in myself. It puts me in such a low place mentally, and I start questioning everything: Do I even have self-control? Why can’t I just say no? I don’t eat because I’m hungry, I eat because the cravings won’t stop. My body feels like it’s screaming even when I’m physically full.
  8. If u know any recommendations l, id appreciate it 🙏

  12. Also its funny how its only me and @shoppgirl who write in this group!! Where is everyone! Update us beautiful ppl!
  13. Im definitely considering it but it aint cheap and my government doesn't have one! But ill ask in my last surgical appointment in feb! Id love to speak to someone about it but deep down i feel I know exactly what they will say and what I need to do so I just need to do it!
  14. Heeeey! I've been wanting to check in so glad u beat me to it haha! So glad you're progessing well with your treatments and im glad u managed to stabilise ur weight abit even with the holidays.. Happy holidays! We dont celebrate so it was a normal December.. i am doing well but I def slowed down abit. Not following a plan and then feeling guilty and my trainer basically confirmed I have an ED... which I dont deny but I am full aware of it. I cant stop thinking about food even after eating so its most probably Eating addiction.. and so far the surgeryis helping me not regain but I believe there would be a time where it will stop working when my body gets used to this new digestive system? Or am I safe forever lol Oh well, its almost 1.5 years and I haven't changed my habits enough ... no regains but if I continue acting chilled about eating whatveer I wwnt, it will def creep back in.. so my new year resolutions is to try to have a good relationship with food 🙂 for the millionth time and well try for a baby teehee..

  16. Hahaha relatedable! That’s the test this holiday then. Take pictures and show me! Ill be your food police
  17. I AM COLD ALL THE TIME!! And I live in the middle East so imagine that 🤣 I have a heater in my office and no one understands why.. I will keep an eye on it for sure.. oh god I struggle with every weekend as our families are all about food so every Friday and Saturday I stray off my meal plan. I really think you should or could eat anything u like but have small plates. I know this lady in tiktok eats anything that fits on a 15cm plate and thats what her doc said. Eat 4 to 6 15cm plates... maybe try? Oh god im typing this and thinking of food.. why is food so good 🥲🥲🥲
  18. It was very positive and sad! Doc is very happy with results and discharged me from the clinic :( I begged him not too so I can be held accountable but my time was done with them haha he says u know what needs to be done n u r doing it! But ill keep going to the local clinic every 3 to 6 months for medicine refill and blood works. All my blood work was good 🤍 but iron was abit low so he doubled the dose and thats about it. Im down 6 kgs of fat from May so something is working.. my next goal is to lose some more weight till February then ill start maintenence phase. So things are shaping up!

  22. Yesss, def my body changed more than the number on the scale but its so weird how fixated we are on that number and also the fact that my doc also told me she wants me at BMI 27 at least because if she went with how I look, she will have to memorise alot of patients haha. I noticed in my tests they did a bone test and I never knew it was a thing and im on 2 calcium a day so im hoping its helping.. I hope your app goes well! I totally get missing some sort of movement. I feel yoga could be ok? Just some stretching and also in the case of weight loss and gain its 80% food. So as long as we eat right, it should be OK for awhile to not move as much as we want
