  1. I'm able to announce a loss this week 232. Four more pounds and I will have lost 100 lbs since my consultation in October 2008.
  2. I'm still the same as last week tried to be good didn't over eat my meal but did some snacking on the candy sitting out at my mom's house. Scheduling a fill next week for right after Christmas.
  3. Glad your recovered I had my GB removed 2 weeks ago.
  4. 234 for me this Friday morning.
  5. Bigrick sorry to hear your not feeling it, you've been one of the more informative and positive people on the board. Remember why you did this in the begining and how far you've gone since then. I see you haven't updated your weight tracker for awhile maybe starting there would help get your stats caught up look at how well you've done. I know we did this to end the "diet rollercoaster" but find a program that may get you started back on track I had a lot of success with the 50 Million Pound Challange The 50 Million Pound Challenge while trying to lose my pre op weight. Good luck!!
  6. I'm at 235 this morning which I'm happy with considering all the fluids that got pumped into me last Friday. I've also been pretty seditary this week and we've been eating cookies (I know I had sweets mostly out of my diet). Things are getting back to normal Kirk goes back on the road today, I see my doctor on Tuesday and plan to be back to work Wednesday or Thursday.
  7. Sounds like him doesn't it.........
  8. I got the regular flu shot, I don't think you can get the H1N1 shot if you had the regular. I got sick a couple weeks before my surgery like another poster I went to my GP and got antibiotics and alergy medication it worked and I had my surgery on schedule.
  9. Good morning I did my Friday weigh in and it was 234 I'm happy with that number but considering I'm on presurgery all liquid cleanse it maybe a bit off. We'll see what happens next week.
  10. I had one of those no change weeks again 239 guess I'll be down next Friday since I have to do the clear diet and drink that clean out stuff Thursday evening........ BG Thanks!!! They identified mine pre-band I'm not having issues but I guess it's got stones. I decided since I've paid my max out of pocket that I'd go in and deal with it. Don't really like the idea of surgery jsut because but don't want to need emergency surgery because of it and our insurancce is getting worse next year.
  11. Didn't get a fill last week since I'm having surgery on 11/6, I'm OK with that just glad they didn't unfill before the surgery.
  12. I'm scheduled to get my gall bladder removed next friday (11/6). Hope you get back to Boot Camp soon.

I was banded 4/09 and it's the best thing I could have done. You will go through the back and fourth thing but I'm really glad I did it. I lost 40 lbs presurgery and 49 since surgery 19 more pounds and I'll be at my first goal.
  14. Oh My!!!!!!! Hope you pull(ed) through well.
  15. 239 for me today I've got a lot of work to do if I'm going to make my Turkey Day Challange.
  16. the center I went through has 2 a month one downtown and one further out, I go to the one further out there are usually 2 or 3 men and the room is usually full. Our support group let's each person intro themselves and tell a little about their journey and then they usually have a speaker.
  17. Are you using the compression shirts? They are holding the bulges in well?
  18. I'm still trying to figure it out.........finally had to have it explained to me..... Mike As you know getting fills is critical, until you get enough fill you are on your own to restrict what you eat. I think most of us who had surgery in April have had 3 or 4 fills by now, my Dr. is conservative how often he will do them and I go for my 4th fill tomorrow. Get caught up on your fills and make sure you are getting the protien. Are you going to your support meetings?
  19. Don't know where I'm at after vacation I'm afraide to get on the scale. I'll post a weight on Friday.
  20. WOW!!! you are doing so good!!!!!
  21. That's so great!!!! I used to buy their pants for work they were inexpensive and nice but they didn't carry fat sizes.
  22. I'm at 240 today yeah........ We go on vacation Monday and then I see the doctor the day after we come back I hope I can hold firm or even lose some more.
  23. OK I checked out the link and have to ask what's going on with the family jewels in this garment, something about this looks so wrong.
  24. How's the compression shirt working for you? What brand are you using?
  25. WOW 6 months hard to believe it's been that long for us...Remember when...... Day by day we wished each Bunny good luck, prayers and advice. We were getting and giving advice on what to take to the hospital and what to have ready when we got home. Now were old pros... For many of us it's been a year since we started our journey. We have a healthy life ahead of us.
