  1. Supposedly Zepbound helps with head hunger. Haven't tried it yet, but I might!
  2. Has anyone had this procedure done. Apparently it's an outpatient procedure to add sutras and make stomach pouch small again Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  3. You're only eating one salad every three days?
  4. See pic Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  5. It's the breast milk that a mother produces shortly after giving birth. But the kind you can buy for human consumption is from cows. That's what you're supposed to do anyway. The security guards frown upon it when you try to suckle on the breasts of new mothers at the hospital Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  6. I'm just curious: does anybody use colostrum in their diet regularly? Does it help with weight loss at all? Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  7. I recently heard about a supplement from a plant called moringa? Has anyone as a gastric bypass patient taken this? Does it help with anything? Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  8. Did anyone see this video with Dr Berg? He's interviewing another Dr that makes his own yogurt (sort of). Does anyone do this? Looks interesting . Interesting video. Just wanted to ask before I buy all the stuff! Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Sorry you're in pain. I don't know if I've lost enough weight to justify skin surgery. I love to see it before and after if you're comfortable with that. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  10. If you get engaged, your fiancee is only called that if they're from the fiancee region of France. Otherwise, he's a brosecco Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  11. Fairlife makes protein shakes that are 42 g per serving which makes it easier to hit your protein goals. But they are expensive Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  12. Would I just add any protein powder to this? Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  13. Anyone try overnight oats which advertises a lot online? Is it worth the money? Does it taste okay? It seems to have a good amount of protein. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk

  16. I eat ice cream occasionally, but don't really miss sweets as much as I feared Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  17. If all you're eating is protein, the weight will come off. Don't worry about a quick stall! Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  18. Does that mean eating when you're not really hungry? I do it all the time. I could use some advice too! Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  19. Yes, protein first! That's my general mantra. Vitamins are important as you've noted. Perhaps an app like my fitness pal. I also use Samsung health on my phone to track steps. It can help. I've been struggling too. Hang in there! Gotta get back to basics! Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  20. Hi, yes I take a prescription for mental health. The doctor said it shouldn't matter that I had a gastric bypass, but I noticed a change in my mood after the surgery. Thankfully I wasn't on the max dose so I talked to my psychiatric nurse and she upped the dosage and things got better. From what I've heard, the only medications that matter are extended release ones. Otherwise, it should be absorbed normally. But that wasn't the case for me. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  21. Just follow the recommended diet initially while your stomach heals. Time flies faster than you think. I would take your medications unless your doctor told you not to. Just remember to drink slowly! Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk
  22. For the past 6 months I've been dealing with severe back pain. Both upper and lower back pain. It seems to shift around depending on the month. Tylenol barely helps. I took prednisone one time and that did help but I don't think that's a long-term solution. It's already wearing off. I've tried physical therapy twice in the past year. I've had x-rays and MRIs the doctors don't see anything. I did visit with a specialist at New England Baptist spine center i Boston and he said he's had several other cases of people who had the same surgery, had lost 60 lb, knew their protein intake and were having severe back pain. He didn't have an immediate answer, but did order another MRI. I'm curious if anyone else on this forum has dealt with this. It seems counterintuitive to lose 100 lb and have back pain get worse. I do have a history of back pain. I've been a physical therapy many times. But I never expected it to get worse as I lost weight. If you have this problem and had any success dealing with it (or not) please let me know. Thank you, Jonathan
  23. Congratulations on your success!
  24. I would agree that it's possible you just need to allow yourself more calories considering your rapid weight loss. Congratulations on your success!
  25. I platued after 6 months and started logging my calories in an app called MyFitnessPal. It can help to meet with your doctor or nutritionist to set goals for the day including macros and calories. It'll get you back on track along with any other guidelines they want to give you.
