When they say church and state they don't just refer to Christian churches...all beliefs should be protected!!!!

I agree in the seperation of God and State and abortion is a huge example of that...it should not be made illegal because of someone elses beliefs...If you don't agree with abortion then don't have one!!! It's that easy!!!

In your Bible all those things were okay...so why not follow them now? Because it's gross...morally wrong? Then why should we make anything in the Bible law?

Eve was made from Adam...sounds like the making of a relative to me...also if it only started with 2 they had to have sex with relatives in order to make people. You know as well as I do that bake then not all wives were 18...which means they were children...Jesus was killed for his beliefs. Oh you looked at my wife...lets stone him!!!

So since the Bible says that the fetus is a person with a soul we should not abort? Shall we also stone people to death? Have sex with children? Have sex with relatives? Kill people for thier beliefs? If we follow one thing in that Bible shouldn't we follow it all?

Don't feel like a failure! Sometimes your mind blocks things like that from you...sometimes completely and sometimes only enough to make it hurt less. You mnd is trying to protect you in a way. While yes being on top for me was hard because I did feel exposed it was better than the feeling I had when a man was hovering over me and baring down on me...It took some time to get used to being on top, but it would have been even more difficult under him. Everyone is different and different things will work for you. I have heard some people use hypnosis to uncover their past, but that wasn't an option for me because, again, I wouldn't feel 100% in control and would be vunerable :confused: Good luck in you journey...it's hard...sometimes it's very long, but you'll get there. I was molested at 3, raped at 13, and assualt at 15...my mother was raped and beaten when I was 9...It helped me to be in control. My husband let me be the one on top and "in control" during sex...allowing me to feel less vunerable...it really helped me...I got to decide what we did, how fast, and what not...it really did help...I was more comfortable with the lights on at first...but now I like it off lol. I've heard that before too...a lot of the girls that I knew that grew up in strictly religious homes/schools were doing drugs/smoking/drinking and having sex at younger ages than me and my public school/not very religious friends

Hmm I pretty sure a lot of forms of birth control make it difficult for a fertilized egg to implant so then the egg just washes out...that sounds like the makings of an abortion to me...? I was just saying that if abortion is made illegal then some...a lot...of birth control methods would be made illegal as well

when you say life of the mother you mean the physicality of it and not her life as in what she must live...I think she has the right to protect her life wether it be protecting herself from dying or protecting herself for changing physically, emotionally, and her life from changing...Also on the death penalty but if the murderer asks for forgiveness shouldn't his sins be forgiven? Should he be given another chance according to the "Lord"?
