  1. Good for you! I hope that I am that close to goal at my bandiversary. Keep up the awesome work!
  2. I had been trying to place that look. :crying:
  3. I did apple juice with Miralax in it.
  4. Posting to say that I really like Susan's new picture.
  5. hmmmm. Nope, still broke. This is completely off topic, but congrats on the end of your 6 month visits.
  6. How wonderful! Heck, I would post it in every thread on every forum....
  7. Congrats on the weight loss! At this point, I would like to have any type of weigh loss that is not associated with my pre-op diet.
  8. There it goes again. Just as info, I promise I didn't choose such a small font (that is, if you can see it by the time I post this reply).
  9. Ok, so if it is a hallucination, it is a mass hallucination :-)
  10. Well, I did see black text. What is going on? Is my lack of nutrition causing some major hallucinations? Or is something strange happening on the forum?
  11. And all I see is black text.
  12. :out:Ok, this is making me think that I am going nuts. Did you see very tiny red letters on my other post? Of course, I don't now, but....
  13. Ok, that was weird. I was posting and it showed up another color. Or am I hallucinating?
  14. I lost my color and my font. When I look at my options, they are still set the way that I set them, but not working at all.
  15. How awesome for you! I am POSITIVE I need to do South Beach!
  16. Posting just to say all of your replies are just normal sized now. None of the new options appear to be working at the moment.
  17. Apparently it is no longer working. All of my changes are gone. Was it causing too many problems, Alex?
  18. Right up to your sleeping on night 10, you could have been describing me. I am on day 10 and tried to sleep in my bed last night. I cannot sleep on my back because of this feeling of pulling something. Nor can I sleep on my side for the same reasons. I haven't even attempted to turn onto my tummy. When I tried to get up from that position...OMG that hurt! I had to slide around like a VERY pregnant woman to get up without feeling like I was tearing my port out of place. I know it will get better for all of us, but my goodness I wish that I knew when. I don't even HAVE a recliner. Instead I have this really uncomfortable queen Anne type chair with an oversized ottoman from another chair. That other chair would have been perfect for sleeping but it is so huge that we couldn't move it to a room big enough for both the chair and ottoman.
  19. Zyrtec is over the counter. It took about a day of taking them both for me to be close to normal. You only have to take the Zyrtec once a day and then I took the Benadryl every 4 hours. I also drank a lot of water to help flush the medicine out of my system (I don't know if that actually did anything or not, but it helped to ease my mind). I got the idea from a friend that had really bad hives (they never could determine the cause). She went to an allergist that actually had her taking a combination of 4 different allergy meds (they all worked differently) to calm her system. As long as she took them all, her hives stayed gone. When taking just the Benadryl didn't help me, I decided to add the Zyrtec. I hope you feel better soon.
  20. I did have that problem, but it was from the pain medicine. My doc wouldn't prescribe anything else and simply told me to take Benadryl. I took Benadryl along with my regular dose of zyrtec. That finally took the edge off, but Benadryl alone didn't do it. Are you taking the maximum allowable dose of the Benadryl?
  21. My doc said 3 meals a day because with proper restriction and following the bandster rules (50% protein per meal), you should not be hungry in between meals. He also said do not lay down for 3 hours after eating. He said it will stretch the pouch, but also lead to reflux from the food still in the pouch. Reflux can equal band erosion later.
  22. My doc said to get 48 to 64 oz of fluid a day. According to my doc, this does include all of your broth, Water, Protein drinks, etc.
