  1. I couldn't either.
  2. Some people just don't understand the concept of personal space. I like the way your daughter responded.
  3. Thank you Donna and Diva. I will play around with that when I get home from work. My job won't allow me access to the site right now. Isn't it funny? I can access lapbandtalk.com but can't access the avatar site? Makes no sense.
  4. Where are you all making these avatars?
  5. I am glad that you are feeling better She. I like the new avatar.
  6. What a great idea (even if plain agrees with it:wink2:)! I thought about getting another tattoo but could not decide on what or where to put it. You have now given me an idea. I hope that you don't mind me "borrowing" your idea, do you? Good luck with your surgery next week! You already have such a wonderful attitude about it. You are going to do great!
  7. PJTP- I hope you feel better She!
  8. Congrats Ebony! That is great news. SNT-way to go! Keep those sizes moving down!
  9. My doctor said no to regular use, but occasionally I could take liquid advil as long as I flushed it from the stoma. On that note though, check with your surgeon about what your amount of use would be and if it is ok.
  10. I only wish that I had gotten banded before I got to this point.
  11. My doctor won't tell us how much we have. He said that since everyone's body is different, the amount of fill that they need will vary. He doesn't want us to be able to compare notes in his office.
  12. I'm buying a regular scale to go next to my digit scale. I have wondered if I was the only one that could step off the digital scale then step back on the weight would be different! That is so frustrating! Thanks for the idea!
  13. I could have written this myself. Right down to the pizza! I really hate it when that happens.
  14. Well, get prepared... My husband cooked dinner tonight and that is a sure sign of the apocalypse, right?
  15. I haven't experienced the pain type of stuck. Every time I have been what I thought was stuck, the food has been just sitting in my esophogus. What I don't understand is, why does the food sit in the esophogus anyway? I don't have restriction yet. That never happened to me before banding. How does it happen now? See how I just added more to your question instead of answering it? Sorry.
  16. Why only at Christmas?
  17. That's the problem though Tap. Christmas starts in September now. I don't know why or how. I remember when Christmas didn't start until the Friday after Thanksgiving. You didn't put up decorations. You didn't buy presents. You didn't hear Christmas songs in the stores until after Thanksgiving. Where did that go?
  18. OMG!!! That is exactly what I was picturing!
  19. What a visual!
  20. I am a card carrying memeber of scales anonymous. I jump on the scale every time I go to the bathroom. I have tried to put it up, but so far I haven't been able to last even an entire day. My husband refuses to get involved with me and the scale so he won't hide it for me. What is a girl to do?
  21. It takes a little while to feel normal again. Once your swelling goes down, you will start to get hungry again. It just takes time. Don't give up yet. You only have a short time for the liquid phase compared to the lifetime of lving with the band. It will get better soon.
  22. Congrats! Every pound lost is worth celebrating! WOOHOO!
  23. How about an audio book?
  24. Actually, one of my nutty neighbors does this already. He puts out these blow up things in October that represent Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The only thing he does is remove the frankenstein blow up the day after halloween.
