  1. Good luck at the race KC!
  2. Hi SNT! Yep, if you see SNT now, it has to be about you! How are you stranger? You do realize that you are missed when you don't show up for what feels like forever?
  3. OMG!***looking around*** How did you know that was me???
  4. You guys are hilarious! And who said anything about drunk?!?! I am just happy thank you very much! No slurred words (of course, I'm not talking either) or falling down (not walking either, just sitting on edge of bed). I am not sick (I took my b-vitamin, and a phen...phenag...hell I can't spell it). I am quite fine.
  5. Ok, so I hate to admit this too, but I have never watched all of Rocky Horry!!! I have seen parts of it it other movies, and other parts in the "Where are They Now" thing that was on TV. Ok, typing after drinking is reallly hard. I cannot tell you how many times I have hit back space to make this sound...(I can't even spell the freaking word that I am thinking of!).
  6. I hate to admit this, but Tim Curry was waayyy sexier than I will ever be!
  7. hmmm psych nursing...I have a BIL that could realllllllllyyyyy use some assistance so...take that test soon so you know?
  8. I don't think there is enough alcohol in the world to make me ready to see plain's, um, toys. Nope. Now, the pink wig and cone bra? I am so there!
  9. Please, don't study or test drunk because if you pass, that would mean you would have to work drunk. I don't think I would feel comfortable with a drunk nurse working on me. Just saying.... How are the studies coming?
  10. Heck yeah! I am sitting here drinking my own version of the Fire Fly (I should never listen to plain). I am working on drink number 2 (techically 4 since I think I had about 3 oz in the first drink and 3 in this one). I can honestly say that I drank my calories today.
  11. It is really scary how much kids are able to see on TV that we would never have seen as children. I thought I was all big girl because I watched Blue Lagoon! Can you imagine what a kid would think of that movie now? That is so PG (not the person PG) compared to what they show on TV?!?!?!
  12. I read it all over a couple of hours this morning. I laughed until I cried!
  13. Nope, everyone was calling me slim anyway, so I just decided that would be the name. It was what I wanted my name to be when I first signed up, but figured it was gone.
  14. I do now, I should have known that the thread would be moved to R and R.
  15. I am so jealous that you had all of this fun without me! ***stamping foot like a whiny 5 year old***
  16. I agree Mac. I am glad that if it comes down to it, leaving is a viable option for you. Life is too short to be unhappy (a rule that I need to live by).
  17. You know Kat, I have thought about that too. That is why my son gets tired of me telling him that certain things are not possible (even now I tell him to be sure he understands). I also don't let him play those games. He gets upset because his friends play them. I have explained that some things are just not meant for children (or adults for that matter). That is too funny about the B word though.
  18. OMG yes! Sad??? I was freaking jealous that I missed it!:crying: I concur! How the heck are you up Beth?   Any word from KC? KC-did your mom make it there? How was the race? So many questions... PJTP-I just came home from marathon school shopping. They have a tax free holiday here every year (for the last few years at least) right before the school year starts. Everyone is out. There were so many wrecks along the road leading to the mall. It was hectic! I hated every minute of it. I was gone and stuck in this mess for 6 hours!:tt2: Six hours of screaming mothers and their children. My own brat was complaining the entire time. I finally told him that all he had to do was complain once more before he would start the school year in the too little clothes from last school year. That shut him up. My plan for the rest of the night is to relax with a bottle of wine (left over from a recipe I am attempting to prepare), and read about what ever shenanigans (sp?) that Beth and company might get into.
  19. Tap-I am feeling for you. Beth, G4E, KC, Krtork, TPG-You are crazy! I just spent the last few hours reading that thread. I have laughed until I cried this morning!
  20. Kat-yay on the new grandson! G4E-we all knew it was the shock of the info. You are a great Nana! KC-it seems that you had some excitement to make up for the let down of the camera crew. I hear about children involved in shootings like that here. You wonder what was happening in their lives to make shooting at each other for kicks a "fun" time. Too many of our youth are dying on the streets over shirt colors or someone stepped into someone else's neighborhood. It's sad. Mac-I am sorry that you are having issues at work. I hope it gets better. luluc- "primate"
  21. I can understand where you are coming from G4E. You will get over the shock of the pregnancy and be thrilled. When you are ready to be thrilled, we will be thrilled with you. You know that you don't have to worry about crying on our shoulders.
  22. I hope that your mom is able to make it for you two to walk together. I will keep my fingers crossed. I am scared to check the boards for that thread. I want a swirly drink but cannot drink it tonight. I will get enough of volunteering for crap at work.:scared2: One day, reading about all that you all do will shame me into doing something. I am the same way. When DH gets up before I do (which is extremely rare), he apparently doesn't like to be up alone so he makes so much noise until the house is up. I can never go back to sleep after. He, on the other hand, can sleep through it all. He can also go back to sleep with ease. I tell you, you just described my DH!
  23. Now that you mention it, that does sound very familiar in a hazy kind of way. Consider it done!:wink2: It still shows you online. That is way less than 5 hours. Are you being distracted by the attractions out of your window? I am glad that you are feeling better. We  you too!
  24. Man, I was going to try to multi post, but you guys have been busy again this morning! I haven't had moonshine, but you would think it would be easy for me to find here in the sticks. Moonshine with tea...hmmmm I have never had sangria either. It sounds so good with all of the fruit. When I was in college, they used to make this punch with some extremely potent white liquor (I'm not sure of the name), beer, and dark rum with all types of fruit in it. They called it "through 'fer" punch. They called it that because after one drink you were "through 'fer the night because the alcohol would sneak up on you (you couldn't taste it). I remember drinking it once. I don't remember much after that.:wink2: KC-I guess I am not ghetto enough because the thought of those loud talking people scares the crap out of me for you. Please be careful. TGIF!!!!!
  25. :nanahump::Banane56:note to self, hide from plain.:wink2: We love you plain!
