  1. Fanny I love that dress. You look great!  Yeah right!  What he said, Krtork. I love your new avi too! I like the hair!
  2. I'll let you know how once I find one!
  3. Your DH is awesome for doing that. I had really hoped that SIL being pregnant and living in the same city as my step-daughter was going to be all that MIL needed to leave. *sigh* No such luck.
  4. KC is a sweetie. I am still so jealous that your MIL is moving! How the heck did that happen?
  5. I've got a few names for MIL/BIL. I won't post them here just in case...***whispering***MIL seems to have sonic ears/eyes.
  6. Yay on the XL! That is so awesome! How did I miss seeing this before? That is so sweet how you DD loves her papa. DS would miss his dad when he worked out of town just a few years ago. He was 10 and wanted his dad home every night. I am sure that those 14s will be great! I don't FB or myspace either. I hope that KC and Luluc get the hint that we want to know everything about this challenge! You don't know Bobby Flay! I'm shocked! Hi KC! Have you been hiding from us? Holy cow! This is a long post. Sorry.
  7. Can my MIL/BIL go too? Please? I'm begging here....I'm so freaking jealous!
  8. Beth has posted to her blog from her parents house, but not here. I wondered about her too. I am glad that you feeling better Heartfire. I guess it takes the tummy a little longer to feel better than it does for it to get out of wack.
  9. I'm so sorry about the migraine. I hope you feel better soon. I need to color my "not so blonde" streaks. I actually have blonde highlights to cover my gray, but the gray around my temples is not cooperating. It just sticks out at all types of odd ways.
  10. Hi LilMissDiva! I wondered what you did for CalFire, but didn't ask. Hi everyone else reading right now (KC, krtork I see you down there)! I can understand about Tap needing a break. I just wanted to get it out there just in case she happened to read it, that we care. That's all. I haven't actually had any of the hatefulness that occurs here and other sites spewed in my direction (that I know of anyway) yet. I really don't understand why people would be that way, but I recognize that I am just being naive about it. I would rather be naive. I like to think that if you put kindess/nicess out, that you will get that back in return. I know it won't always happen, but in my own little imaginary world (thanks to lots of medicine *snickering*) it does.
  11. I just thought I would mention this while sitting here in this thread alone, I miss Tap. I really miss her being here with me early in the morning. I just had to say it again. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Tap-I hope that you are starting to feel better. Come back soon, ok?
  12. That is what I have been going through. My other symptoms seem to be much better. I no longer have any insulin issues. My blood sugar is normal. I have a period every month now. My face has just progressively gotten worse. I really don't like it. I have used some mail order face cleaners. I have used the very expensive drug store brands. None of them have been helping me. My face is no where near clear right now, but since starting the antibiotic, the cystic pimples are going down. I hope you are able to get some relief soon. Thanks for replying.
  13. No fair! There is no way I can make a choice on who to vote for!:w00t:
  14. Me too!:biggrin: :smile::smile:
  15. ***looking around****Heard what? Budget? What the heck is that?:w00t: Hi Kat! So did my laundry! What's up with that? It is Wednesday. Thank goodness! I am sorry that your fill was too much. I hope that by the time you are reading this, you are feeling much better. How the heck did they lose her records? Since you have been doing stuff, do you think you could add my to-do list to yours?
  16. Wow, look at the weight loss that you all have accomplished! You all are doing so well. I really think we should be so proud of what we have done. No point is thinking of what we didn't do in this time. I don't regret my band. Without the band, I would be on insulin shots and even more blood pressure medicine. I won't even think about how much I would weigh by now (I'm sure close to or over 300 by now). We have all come so far! Keep up the good work everyone!
  17. Morning all! Thanks for all of the well wishes. I feel much better today. I was finally able to eat some soup last night for dinner. It went down fine. I won't be taking the medicine until after I have had something for breakfast. KC-you didn't gross me out. I just think it is sad how people treat each other today. You hear about so much violence today that just seems unfathomable. TPG-I would love to read your blog. I also secretly think plain is pretty cool.
  18. Ebony-I am glad that things went well with the interview. I think those butt holes that you work with now are...well, butt holes (I know, I am so mature for my age...not). I think your talents can be used so much better some where else. I hope this interview is the one that gets you the new job.
  19. I had a heating pad that I kept on my back to aid with the gas pain in the shoulder. I will be honest and say that over the counter gas medicine didn't help me. Only walking and the heating pad helped me with the gas. I would just walk my hallway. Other people swear by the gas-x so use it. I guess we are all different on that one. I made sure that I had a prescription for nausea medicine. I have trouble with nausea after surgery, so if you do, make sure you have something available to take since vomiting while healing could rip sutures holding your band. Let's see....I think you have the other parts covered. You are going to do so well!
  20. TPG-I will admit to being pretty new to the internet forum game. I had never been a part of a forum until I joined here. I am naive about a lot of things, but I am not comfortable with personal info being out there for all to view. I know that people have ways of finding it out, but I won't help them.
  21. OMG! He kicked my butt just trying to do the "warm up" video. I cannot imagine him with tools.
  22. I hope you have/had a great! Hey Diva! I dated Billy once years ago. He was too much for me to handle. KC-how was the golf tournament? Ebony-How was the interview? How is everyone doing this evening?
  23. Over the last few months. It seems to have gotten worse this month.
  24. Forget cutting them out of the will, just cut the bastards!
  25. Ebony-thinking of you today. Knock 'em dead! Hi everyone! (I started to name names, but I knew I would forget a name and be in trouble!) PJTP-I had a fight with some medicine this morning. The medicine won. I have been having some major acne issues. I went to the doctor. She gave me an antibiotic and some topical hardline face cream. Well, the directions on the antibiotic said to take on an empty stomach (I should have known much better than this). It was awful. I WON'T be doing that again. I finally was able to get some hot chocolate down about an hour ago. It took me almost 2 hours to get 20 oz down, but it went down. It seems to be staying down. I will do liquids the rest of the day.
