  5. And life goes on. You know what is so amazing? Just shut off the computer, you know like the knob on the TV change channels. Its that easy. And yes this is America and that is why I CHOOSE to live here. So write whatever you want say whatever you want and do whatever you want. Thats why our men and women have fought and died for these rights. God bless America.

  7. grt advise Carlene
  8. Hey Bug, what you are saying is the exact plan that I followed . I was banded by Dr Cahan in Idaho. It is doing great beause I started real food two days ago. Its an extremely slow process, seek lots of advice from those that have gone before us, they have made the mistakes of eating what they are not supposed to and then listen to the horror stories. This has helped me so much that I have lost -61lbs thus far. I was only banded on April 17th and because of their mistakes my road to success is much simpler. If you need info as you go through this, there are many grt forums on this web site, but be careful, there are many that are just junk, you know junk in junk out. Good luck and welcome to the Gone for good club.

  16. My family's prayers are with you and your husband, I pray that God will guide the Doctor to do what is needed and that then God will lay his healing hand on your husband and give him peace and rest through all of this. I also pray for a hedge of protection for you while this is happening and that God will give you peace and rest so that you will have a complete peace about all of this.
  17. Enjoy and adjust what you feel is right and as long as the weight is coming off who cares
  18. I think one needs to do the homework and research the Doc of choice, then only you can make the decision that feels right for you. I did mine in the states and my Doc did a great Job. 7weeks out and have lost a total of 61lbs thus far, on my way to a little life Remember its YOUR choise
  19. No problem venting we all do it, the other side of the coin is what needs to be done, you already know so do it and get back on track
  20. way to go and congrats
  21. syl step: Welcome, I am 7 weeks post op and have lost 69lbs. It is a very scary thing to think about that you will have a device in you that who knows what will really happen. How I accepted this and used it to my benifit was I knew that this was just a tool, and if not used properly could still gain weight. However like most tools I dug in and researched the issue joined a great support group of other bandsters and through this have come out the other side on fire and losing weight. I have committed to myself to follow my Docs instructions to the letter, listen to others with issues so that I can avoid the pit falls that they have gone through. Hang in there it does work and it is a great life.
  22. Yep I had some pain there to it went away, but the only way to be sure is seek info from your Doc
