I also agree with you Catherine and Luluc. I didn't go around broadcasting the surgery, I only told a few of my family members and close friends. I didn't feel others needed to know, it was a personal decision and definitely not ashamed of my decision, in 4 months I've lost 47 lbs. Coworkers comment on my weight loss and I tell them exercise and portion control, I feel that's more than enough informaton!!! Keep up the good work.

Caroline in Va, You should get approved with no problem, I was approved by Tricare in October 08 and had the surgery in December 22, 08 and I was only 80 lbs. over weight and one medical issue high blood pressure. I have lost 42 lbs. So Good Luck!
