  3. It just so happens I was doing a bit of light reading this week on the ASMBS.org website. I discovered stats on bariatric surgeries including revisions. Check out this link to the ASMBS site: https://asmbs.org/resources/estimate-of-bariatric-surgery-numbers When you take in the numbers holistically. Revision rates are climbing rapidly.

  21. Mindful Moment: I'm feeling all kinds of emotions today. It's this weird mix of fear, anxiety, elation, resolve, focus, and super-charged anticipation of my future self all at once. If you may be feeling this way too, know you're not alone. My surgery date is March 7th, just 21 days away. I've been on an 8-month journey filled with highs and lows like so many of you. As I reflect on my feelings today, I want to honor them wholeheartedly as each one of them is valid. Most of all, I felt it was important to share my feelings with others who may be feeling similarly. While each of our journeys is that of our own, we're not alone. We all need to be reminded of that in our moments of mixed emotions. ~Meg

  23. Mine too! I'm feeling exactly the same way.
  24. Congratulation on your post-op successes! Keep up the great work!
  25. I had my last hoorah at the Phoenix Open on Wednesday. I had a blast, but now I'm ready to get locked in for my pre-op diet on the 21st. Best wishes!
  26. I'm scheduled for surgery on March 7th. Is anyone else excited that March is a short month?
