  1. Congratulations Heather! You will be to mushy foods before you know it.
  2. I just got my wii fit, however after a long haul of looking for them, the gentleman told me at Best Buy you have ask when they get their orders, because they usually get two or three a week. That is all they get, but if you get there on shipment days you have a better chance. They are not advertised when they come in. They go so fast they do not need to advertise. I have just started using mine, however I have enjoyed it. I still try to go to the gym 4 days a week and walk a 1/2 after dinner each night, but the wii does let you work up a sweat. Anything off the couch is better than just sitting! Enjoy and have fun!

  6. I started short walks by day3, like to the mailbox, then I increased to the corner and until I got to walking the full loop of my street through the greenbelt. I just started back at the gym and riding the bike yesterday and I am post two weeks.
  7. Well here is my results Initial weigh in was 315 Sugery Day 296 2 week post op 289 26 total Sure hope it keeps going down down down. Good Luck Everyone

  9. Wow, I did it I made to soft foods! Yippee!!!! My doctor allows oatmeal too. I did my post op to day and everything went well. I wish everyone well that is going for surgery next week good luck and to be patient.
  10. Pumpkin.... you can do it. You are almost there. Keep thinking ahead to the future and how much healthier and happier you will be.
  11. Congratulations Mommypower! I had my surgery on 8/8/08. I have not weighed in yet, I am waiting for my two week post-op. But I did lose 20lbs pre-surgery, so I am excited. I am still on liquids and should graduate to mushy on Friday.
  12. Hi, Jenecye! I haven't weighed since before I was banned last Friday, I trying to hold off until I see Dr. Villares next Friday. I think it will be fun to see after two week period. I am doing three protein shakes a day, cream soup and some sf jello. I haven't actually totalled out the calories. But I am so full it is hard to get in my three shakes. It great to find people so close to home to share experiences with.:thumbup:

  14. Congratulations premierno1 that was great weight loss. I been walking short walks around the block each evening with my husband. I will be glad when I can do more. Have fun back at work next week.

  18. iwant2baloser, I have tri-care prime and Dr.Villares performed my surgery last friday. You might want to check back with him.
  19. ibldenver, I promise if your surgery is anything like mine, there will be a little discomfort, but truly is not bad. The gas in the chest is worse. Walk, Walk, walk and I am sure you will be fine. I am three full days now and wondering why I took a whole week off work. I feel great. Good Luck.

  21. I had my surgery on Friday and I feel wonderful. The worst is the gas pain. Walk as much as you can afterwards to get rid of it. Popsickles taste good throat afterwards too. Good LUCK!
  22. Congratulations everyone! It seems as though those of us that have been banded this month are moving on with great strides. I am happy to say I woke up this morning with hardly any gas pain. I getting ready to go for my walk. I walked a little last night and coughed a lot (I have asthma, so it is expected from the surgery), however I feel fine. I wish all of those having surgery the best of luck this week and I hope you all recoup as fast as most of us have. I have my fingers crossed for luvcowboys that everything goes as planned tomorrow.   24. sfinneran1 you will be fine, it nothing compared to what I thought and was worried about. I am a little sore, but have been walking around all day and I was an outpatient yesterday. The gas is the hardest part. Good Luck
