  3. Thanks tx_girl... my port side is tender, but nothing I can't live through. I just keep walking around to get that gas out. I had to have a few squirts of my inhaler before and after surgery as a preventive, so I am really coughing which is what they wanted. Thanks for your support everyday will just get better! But, I am happy it was no where as bad as I thought it would be.
  4. Well, I was home two hours after surgery was done. I am a little sore, and of course walking off the gas in the chest. Definately nothing I can get through. I had no trouble up the stairs last night and rested well. All I can say is WoW !!! why didn't I do this a long time ago! I hope it went as well for all my band sisters as it did for me yesterday. Now its a new day and the start of a new life! Good Luck anyone that is going in on Monday.

  8. Thank you Keisha, my bedroom is upstairs and I wanted to make sure I would be able to make it up there for the comfort. I have a reconstructed right hip (major car accident a few years ago), so I am good at going slow. I really appreciated your response. Good Luck everyone getting banded today ! I still have two days until the big day for me.
  9. Has anyone had any trouble going up and down stairs after their surgery, that is one of biggest concerns. I just want to be prepared.
