I'm a little nervous, yet excited at the same time. It is a weird feeling of mixed anxiety. I am in no way regretting or dreading the surgery, just more like anticipation of the change to my life. I know it will be hard work, but I'm already practicing what it will be like after the surgery...by doing that I've managed to lose 24lbs going in. I'm determined to make this a permanent change! Soon you will be eyeing your surgery date with the same feelings! So excited for you! I know how felt when I was seeking a surgery date after approval. Please let me know when you get your date! Hi! I'm having RNY surgery on 1/28/21. It took 7 days for me to get my approval. I have type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and Gerd. Looking forward to having all of these comorbidities resolve soon! Good luck! I'm sure you will get approved. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
