I'm a little nervous, yet excited at the same time. It is a weird feeling of mixed anxiety. I am in no way regretting or dreading the surgery, just more like anticipation of the change to my life. I know it will be hard work, but I'm already practicing what it will be like after the surgery...by doing that I've managed to lose 24lbs going in. I'm determined to make this a permanent change! Soon you will be eyeing your surgery date with the same feelings! So excited for you! I know how felt when I was seeking a surgery date after approval. Please let me know when you get your date!

Hi! I'm having RNY surgery on 1/28/21. It took 7 days for me to get my approval. I have type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and Gerd. Looking forward to having all of these comorbidities resolve soon! Good luck! I'm sure you will get approved.

I'm so sorry your friend decided against making a life changing choice....it is her loss! I am starting the journey with my twin brother...surgery scheduled in January. Please hang in there....you are making the right choice! She will regret her decision soon enough.

I agree! So glad to finally be able to get the help we need. We would love any feedback or pointers. There seems to be a lot to learn, both before and after the surgery. I'm also glad to have found this app!
