    Congratulations on your surgery.
When I read about them finding an issue with your liver I couldn't help but think how lucky you are. Now, the Docs can evaluate what's going on and take appropriate action.
    Hang in there.

Sorry to hear you are struggling...First of all you need to stop beating yourself up .This is a lifelong journey ,this is not a DIET .Perhaps it would help if you reevaluated the way you think about food and put it in its proper place. get your Protein in and you wont be hungry all day as you stated. You are only a month out and should be concentrating on protein and Water not calories if you do that there will be no room for calories.. your stomach can hold but so much.

    Good luck

Seems to me the way to get over this is to see a therapist who has experience with eating disorders.

I’m scared I’m developing bulimia. I’m 6 months out and down 87lbs. I’m so happy with my success and want to continue to lose (ideally I’d like to lose about 40 more). Lately I’ve become so scared of stretching my sleeve. It started with me eating past my point a little then throwing up because I was uncomfortable. Now I’m doing it daily if I eat more than I should. I know I need help but I don’t even know how to start finding the help. I’m scared I’m stretching my sleeve and scared of the consequences of throwing up so frequently but I can’t seem to stop. Please help or tell me how you got over this if it’s happened to you.

Were you given a scopolamine patch to put on before surgery (helps with nausea) and wear for a few days? That will cause blurriness as well.

90 lbs in 5 months isn't anything to balk at. that's fantastic!!
and i understand the feeling of "i should be losing more!" but your body is doing just what it should. it's still adjusting to this new lifestyle and all the changes. you're 5 mo into a new lifestyle after spending years in another -- give yourself time. you're losing almost 20lbs a month.. that's fantastic.
also, try to not compare yourself to others on this forum. i tend to do that and it makes me upset.. however, you got this. just keep at your pace and you'll hit your goal. also, if you're afraid that you're stalling, change up your diet to include less carbs/more protein.. or just increase your intensity with your workouts. when i get back on track w/my diet, i tend to lose quicker.

Regardless of weight loss surgery you (and the majority of the rest of us) will not lose weight every week or month. Our bodies are not machines and we don't work to precise timelines.
You've lost 90lb in nearly five months, that is an excellent amount of weight to have lost in that time - even more excellent if you consider your stalls.
Set yourself some realistic goals, know that you are not alone in achieving a weight loss every week or month, be kind to yourself.

Why do I feel like I have a stall every month? Is that possible? Maybe I'm not doing something right. This is frustrating at times. I try to stay off the scale but it's hard. Surgery 6/9/20 as of today 90lbs down. I feel like i should be losing more every month i stay at the same weight for maybe 2weeks or more smh.

I agree, talk with your doctor.
I had little red bumps on my stomach, but it was my skin reacting to the sutures (turned out to be hives for me). It could be anything, though, because your skin goes a little bonkers after a major surgery, so you should ask your doc.
For the pain, are you eating slowly? Are you taking your time? Are you eating hot/cold when it happens? Are you eating the wrong food for your current recovery stage? If you moved on and it's hurting you, like switching from liquid to puree, you can always move backwards and give yourself more time.
I understand hating the Protein Shakes, but Protein is super important. If you can, maybe find some unflavored? Or is it just the texture?
Congrats on the surgery. ❤️ Hope you feel better. Talk to your doc!

I agree with the 'first time in 4 months' person that said - :ha, we should all be so good to only slip up or go off the plan 1x every 4 months!" Enjoy your grandkiddos and Celebrate how much good you have done for yourself and what you learned through this one.
    Best wishes to you!!

I did that too shortly after surgery!! I don't remember how far out I was or what it even was that I ate, but I was doing my "chew and spit" thing and by habit I swallowed it. I was scared for just a second and then I was like " well...I seem to be okay. It isn't hurting or anything...let's just not do that again". Lol.

I’m also buying the Healthy Choice dressings. They’re a great marinade for chicken or just on salads. I also love the Torani sugar free syrups for coffee or in plain Greek yogurt.

I buy a lot of turkey bacon but my kids eat more of it than I do. Since my VSG I’ve notice plant Protein sits a lot better I’ve added pictures of 2 of my favorites. The Lightlife sausage is a great ground beef replacement. I still eat a lot of chicken and shrimp that I cook in the air fryer because it’s not as dry that way. I also buy A LOT of zucchini and tomatoes and mushrooms.

oikos triple 0 baybel polly-o string cheese cashews sugar free pudding mix Trader Joe's salmon patties (Costco makes good salmon burgers, but I am not a member) riced cauliflower canned tuna Yasso bars (these are a treat plus they have 6g of protein) I am still trying new foods, but these have been regulars on my grocery list post-op. I also have all kinds of dry Beans and seem to be tolerating them well. I just started eating chicken and want to start buying tenderloins or possibly drums since they seem to be perfectly portioned.

Just crack an egg. I could prepare the ingredients myself but this is great for when I’m lazy. I use an egg white instead of a whole egg.

You are going to have days like this, but you recognized it. I quit smoking 10 years ago, I've a a few since then but it always reminds me why I quit. I am also curious to know how you felt afterwards. I do plan to make a slice of pizza or a cookie a planned part of my diet. I hope I can eat them.

Watching others eat in the first weeks out can be challenging & very tempting.
You may be craving salt - from habit or need. Try dipping a finger in a little salt & having a taste & see if that helps. If you haven’t yet, try chicken or beef broth as alternatives to Protein Shakes for a ‘meaty’ taste. Or sip on some warm/hot chicken or beef stock.

I did it at the beginning with beef Jerky. I was so tired of sweet stuff and just wanted something different. I chewed it really well, made sure not to swallow any, and spit it out when I ran out of flavor.
