  1. I see everyone's progress and can't believe the numbers! That is soooo cool. I've been banded almost a year and have only lost 20+lbs. I've been filled to max. Dr. Schroder is considering bypass for me. I'm up for it as soon as Joyce in insurance gets the okay from BC/BS (they've already told me yes).
  2. I was banded in Nov '08. Haven't attended any of the groups yet.

Great advice....and information. I'm going to look into everything.
  4. I'm doing everything you suggested. In fact the nutritionist was surprised at how well I journaled and exercised. That's why this is so frustrating!
  5. I've lost approx. 20lbs since last Nov. Any ideas on why or advice?

I am not happy with my weight loss. Its been almost a year and only 20lbs down. The nutritionist and dr said I'm doing everything right. Now they are looking at gastric by-pass. This does not scare me. Depression is getting to me. I try to exercise whenever I feel this way. Any advice is better than no advice at all. :tongue_smilie:

  8. I'm homeless too. I was banded Nov' 08 and have only lost 20 pounds. I've been doing what's right and have been filled to capacity. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Babs
  9. Thanks for the LSD info. I have to start mine immediately due to a earlier surgery date. Of course its right before Thanksgiving; however totally worth it. I'm still trying to figure how to drink at least 64 ounces of fluid.
  10. Richmond here - Short Pump. I've almost finished my 6 month diet/dr visits. This month is my last dr. visit and next month is my nutrition. Looks like my surgery will be in Nov. By following the the nutritionist's diet plan, I've lost 19lbs already. Too bad it doesn't show.
  11. Protein water at Wal-Mart - I find mine in the diet supplements area near the Pharmacy.
  12. I'm new (as of today) and will be having surgery in Oct/Nov. *fingers crossed* I have to do the 6 month nutrition and exercise. By reading the posts, it seems Dr. Schoder's office is really jumping. Wonder how many of us will run into each other. I have one question for the group....who do you see for the Nutrition part? I see Whitney @ St. Mary's. Thanks in advance.
