I’m on full liquid diet! It got better after the third day. Seeing the weight come off is incentive to get through each day. I’m down 21 lbs. My sleeve is scheduled for the 27th. We can do this!

I went for my Covid test this morning and tested positive! I have no symptoms and have not been around anyone with symptoms. The only places I’ve been in the past two weeks were doctors office and radiology all for my preop testing while wearing a mask and everyone else had one on too. This really sucks now I’m postponed again for the third time! Starting to get discouraged after doing the liquid diet three times. Praying I don’t develop any symptoms!

Originally was scheduled for March 18th and now rescheduled for May 13th. Start my liquid diet tomorrow. Doctor was pleased with my weight loss of 17 lbs. so allowed me to do one week instead of two on the liquid diet.

I’m scheduled for my sleeve on May 13th and I’ve only told my spouse, children and my mom. People ask too many questions and give out too much judgement. I chose to just tell those that I know are supportive of my decisions. Everyone has to make their own decisions on sharing or not sharing.

HAs anyone experienced severe gas pain during the Pre Op liquid diet? Every time I stand up and try to move around for anything the gas pains make me want to cry. Tried GasX and not much relief. This has been going on for two weeks. Any suggestions??

Just found out my new surgery date is next Thursday 26th. Was cancelled yesterday due to my doctor being ill. Hoping that I really get it done next week with no other delays.

My surgery was cancelled this morning due to my doctor being ill today. I’m supposed to find out tomorrow when I will be rescheduled. Disappointed, but understand it could not be helped. Hoping for next week.

I have to be at the surgery center at 8 tomorrow for my sleeve. I’m nervous, scared, happy and elated all at the same time. Asking for prayers that it all works out good. Thanks

I’m scheduled for the 18th as well and have been suffering with horrible heartburn all week making it hard to walk at all. Worse when I stand up. I’m so scared that I will be cancelled as well. My only hope is there are no current cases in my area.

Mine is scheduled for Wednesday the 18th. Praying it’s not cancelled. I don’t know if I could handle doing the liquids all over again!
