the soya milk saved me....! got the tip from my sis actually lol Not long to go till your pre-op! When is your surgery? Wish you all the best 2!! x Its all good! Im not a big fan of diary myself...the only time i have it is when i have Cereal...which isnt that often. But soya will take me through these two weeks...and the big man upstairs!! lol Hey hun, you getting banded the day after me! woooo! So what medifast then..? You eat food aswell? as for that noodle soup....thats how i felt yesterday when i mixed the Protein shake with Water...the smell of it every time i took a mouth full.....ewwww...i was just gagging....and trying to swollow it. Daym... i didnt know soya milk could turn it into a completly new drink!! lol Hold in there hun, we havent got long to go now!!

FOR SOYA MILK!!! LOL i started my liquid diet yesterday for 2 weeks, for my op on the 1st sept. And i was gagging :thumbdown:when i was drinking it yesterday....i was literally forcing myself to drink it! :thumbup:(i was feeling at that point i would rather starve and not eat than to have another one lol):crying::sad: But anayways....got a great tip from my sis to have it with soya milk, tried it this morn.....and my goodness it taste like a totally different shake!!!:thumbup: I am even looking forward to my next one for lunch and dinner!! SOYA MILK ROCKS!!! :biggrin::thumbup:

Thats great news!! Well done!! I still dnt get why they ask you in the USA to put ur weight on ur licence though? If you get arrested (God Forbid) are they gonna put hancuffs on you and say..."now pls get on the scale mam" lol lol

Best thing is to crush them....just in case. I hear if it has the soft casing then there is no need to. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids to wash them through.

Your welcome hun xx Hey! Yes burping is different from PB'n as you are bringing up gas/air. And from what you have said hun, the extra gas is coming from your diet pepsi. I hear that even if you shake the fizz out, you can never totally get it all out. And again...you prob know this 2....but we gotta try and stay away from the fizz...as it can stretch the pouch. but....i do sympathise.....i used to be a coke zero addict...and have been slowly weening myself of it....i can say that i have been coke zero free for a month!! woooo! :crying::thumbup:

Hun i agree, go to another doctor if you can...if everbody was judged on thing sthey done in the past, or the way how we felt...im sure nearly all people on this forum would not be banded. You can overcome this hun....people will try and put barriers up, but you can overcome this. Get another opinion...i was told i couldnt get banded because i was to "big", so i went elsewhere and i will be banded in less than three weeks! xx
