well i know what you mean my husband was all for my wls but my mom sho si s very important part of my life but was totally against my band i eventuall told her i thought i might not do it and a couple days before i told her i was doing it just in case so she would not be mad a t everyone esle in case jsut incase. in the meantime she happened to see and ophra show that eased her mind so maybe you can get up online and show your mom it is a simple procedure wit minimal risk and tell her you will have the best doctor with you cause jesus will be with you . 2days post good luck

well ijus t got band on the 20th so far ok a ittle depression but it is slswly goning away i am praying that thisisthe best thing for me so i just need to learn to live with it

I agree with ajoneeen pleas find a respite or an adult daycare alo senoir plus will sometimes shop for your mom you have got to find an escape because if you don't if god forbid your mom passes you will have the smae regrets you do now except you will think that if you ahdn't felt this way and gave love it would have been different. But you are giving the ultimate love. You never said if you are a bander so i guess not just seeking help youmay need to talk to a professional to help you cope does your husband ehlp out he should and do you have siblings talk to them and ask you moms doctor to give her a mild sedative for whn you take her out keep loving her but let your dad know that you have to have some time away and aunt cousin whoever is coming over and not to be mean if not you will not be there and also take a dayjust for you and nobody but you check into a hotel and tell nobody where it is and the number star 67 before calling letting everyone know i am ok but i need this time love you and if you love me you will respect this. So puddin how much weight di you begin with and what is your weight today and goal. Now what was the most difficult part of you pre and post and would you do this again. My op is th 20th of aug. And you had yours on my birthday great. I am 53 and look 40 and now i am gonna look 30 at the most (smile)

wow all you who have not been told about the liver shrinking talk to your doctor again because this is very important theliver lays on top of your stomache and is very heavy and in the way jsut check onit maybe your doctors know something mine didn't and i didn't have to starve but safety first and it didn't hurt to lose a few pounds so good look to you and god bless
