  6. Hi and welcome!! I'm sorry it's been a painful experience. I had no issues at all. Recovering from my gall bladder surgery hurt worse. As Catwoman7 says it should get better each day. 5'4" Starting weight 297 VSG on 7/31/19 Surgery wt: 266 CW 218 GW 135
  7. Hi, how is everyone doing? My weight loss has been really slow, I'm averaging 1 lb. a week. It's not the best but its something. I know I'm losing inches as well. I'm in between pants size 14 and 16. I feel great aside from all the hair loss. Hoping it stops soon. Wishing all of you a happy and safe Thanksgiving!! 5'4" Starting weight 297 VSG on 7/31/19 Surgery wt: 266 CW 218 GW 135

  9. This has been an amazing journey so far. I am down 77lbs from my heaviest weight and 45lbs of those lbs since surgery 7/31. I've slipped up a few times and got back on track immediately. The first post OP holidays are going to be really hard, having to cook my family's favorite holiday foods and just being exposed to all those carbs and sugars. I typically keep leftovers after the holidays but planning on getting rid of everything except the proteins. Glad to hear everyone is doing great!! 14. Update, I gained 3 lbs last week but lost 2 lbs this week. We had catered breakfast and lunches brought in last week for my team and I made some poor decisions but this week I'm focused and back on track. I was miserable last week. 18. Hi, I had my surgery the end of July. I did not have any issues with my surgery. Just minor soreness at the incision site where my stomach was removed. It only bothered me when I moved wrong. My gall bladder surgery recovery was worse. Best of luck!! 5'4" Starting weight 297 VSG on 7/31/19 Surgery wt: 266 CW 228 GW 135

  25. Hi, I attended my first party this weekend. There was quite a few family and friends there. I was really nervous about how I was going to explain my weight loss, I haven't told anyone except my two sons and my soon to be daughter in law. Only two people commented on my weight loss and I basically told them I have been dieting and exercising which I have been since before and after my surgery. I'm just really surprised more people did not comment on my weight loss. I've lost 70 lbs since January. There was a girl at the party who weighed as much as me before, we used to walk every weekend for a few months then we quit because other things kept coming up, she knew how hard I was trying to lose weight. I was shocked that she never commented on my weight loss. She was not acting herself at the party, I got a feeling she was not happy with my weight loss [emoji20]. The good news is I'm 66 days post OP and down 37 lbs. It's coming off slow but it's been steady [emoji4] 5'4" Starting weight 297 VSG on 7/31/19 Surgery wt: 266 CW 229 GW 135
