what were you given for treatment...not to thread crash, but I have to swish and swallow with Nystatin prior to surgery *scheduled for Wednesday...and I noticed yesterday a bump on my tongue and more bumps on the back of my tongue....I do not know if this is a reaction to the swish and swallow, but I thought it was supposed to get rid of yeast???

I have been doing the Atkins shakes...I also like the Muscle Milk Chocolate....I just ordered Gourmet Whey Smooth Peanut Butter Chocolate..from different recommendations, I hope it's good! Also if you call Syntrax they will send you free samples of Nectar! I should receive mine early next week!!

I had to pay a $500 fee which covers some exercise program (which I will not use), the nutritionist for 3 visits, the support groups and the pyschological eval...maybe more appts with her, I do not remember. I would think if it was initiated mid process, you should be grandfathered in and not have to pay....

I am on week 2 of liquids...it really has not been horrible..I guess I am in the right state of mind now! I have lost 13 lbs since June 25th on liquids I am just anxious for my surgery on Wednesday, it can't get here soon enough!

Ditto. I have to be on liquids for 2 weeks and then go to soft foods. I have already been on liquids preop since June 25th, my surgery is July 9th!

my doc does not generally fill at surgery either...it was just a small amount. I remember distinctly hearing they put some in one and not the other...that is why I asked...Thanks for all the responses!

Which band starts out with a little fill in it...realize or lap???

I have had 2 since beginning this process....I was completely out both times! The last thing I remember both times was them telling me to enjoy my nap The only side effect for me was a little tired, a slight headache and a scratchy throat GL!

I am being banded July 9th by Dr. Greene. I will be getting fills with him, but not sure if they will all be paid for by insurance. Any suggestions for other docs is greatly appreciated!!! TIA

Good morning! I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Amy, I am the mother of 2 beautiful children and have been married for 7 years...I hope to have my surgery in June....I have finished all pre-op testing, I am just waiting for the Therapist to turn in my psych evaluation to the doctor.....after that it will be submitted to insurance and I hope to be approved quickly!
