plans on hold

Unfortunately, I think I am going to have to put my LB plans on hold. After contacting the loan centers, I just don't think I am going to be able afford the monthly payments in addition to all the other monthly payments I have coming out of my check ( I just bought a new house last month). This sucks, but I guess I'll just have to save up my money until I can afford to pay for the procedure up front. Everyone just keep their fingers crossed that I can do it. Thanks for all the support you all have given me so far in my decision to do this. I'll stay in touch.

cmayes...I am so sorry. I believe that you will find a way when the time is right. Come back and visit so we know how you are doing!

Hugs to you..

I'm so sorry, I know how frustrating that is. I am self-pay also and I checked out the loan options, most of the medical loans had high interest and required repayment within 5 years, so the monthly payments were pretty high. I wouldn't have been able to do it either if I hadn't been able to take out a loan against my retirement plan at work. The nice thing about that is that when I pay it back, I'm really paying myself back. I hope it works out for you soon!
