Never mind! It was a very boring day.
  2. 1-4. I have 5. Haven’t 6. Have 7 & 8. Haven’t

I’m painting cabinets today and I’m such a mess. Instead of OOTD I’ll post one limb and feel free to guess the color I’m painting my master bath. (NOT blue) Hint. 1. Benjamin Moore Hint 2 . Game of Thrones Can you tell I’m bored waiting for paint to dry?
  4. These exercises are hard, especially the first one. I have been on a decluttering spree for about a month now. It feels great and is calming. It’s really eye opening, I thought most of the clutter and stored boxes were mine. Turns out my husband is the hoarder! I eat carbs, I would be super crabby without some in my diet. Tortillas are my friend.
  5. This is my favorite sweater, I’ve had it for years and it’s a bit big now but I don’t mind. Unlike most people here I am always hot (temperature wise) so I can’t handle thick sweaters.

@sillykitty Thank you, I’m ordering those! I HATE my messed up feet (crooked feet bones) and the older I get less tolerant of uncomfortable shoes. I used to be able to handle it but now the pain gets real and real fast. I saw a podiatrist, but I don’t want surgery, which was recommended. It really limits what I can wear, and I feel so short in flats with a dress. I’ll be 59 at the end of month and I don’t want old lady shoes either lol. ugh, I really need to go to some stores and try some stuff on. I dug these out of my closet, are they still in style? I don’t remember when I bought them. I’m not sure if I’ve even worn them.. I should start a fashion intervention thread.

Can someone call Clinton Kelly or maybe the Queer Eye squad to take me shopping? The Amazon dress is only $27, so I’m going to get that regardless, I have a very similar one that has short sleeves. Maybe I’ll go to Talbots this week and ask for help. I can’t wrap my brain around wearing leather shoes or pumps with bare feet.
  8. Goal: firm up. I’m in maintenance, post op 8/18 VSG weight 127-129 BMI 22 I need this one. I’ll do the anywhere abs. Looks like this one is daily? I’ll post my favorite sweater later today.
  9. I lost slowly and it was difficult because it made no sense and it was very frustrating at times. In hindsight, I am glad it took longer because I don’t take a single pound lost for granted. I do think there are pitfalls with both. There is a risk of giving up when the weight loss is slow.

I need your input. I’m going to a “meet the new members” party at the CC we joined. It isn’t super stuffy and it is not a formal event but I’m unsure what to wear. I’ll have to go shopping, so I hoped I could pick your brains before I go. I like this dress. (It’s black) My issue is I hate wearing heels and do women no longer wear nylons? H.e.l.p. m.e. The second picture is more me. I would wear this with black pants, but again I don’t know what shoes to get. (And I don’t have black pants yet..lol) I have awful feet so it’s difficult for me to find shoes.

You are getting noticeably smaller each week. Great outfit!
  12. I had the same problem when I was on the 2 week pre op diet. I cut my protein shakes with half decaf (cold) coffee. It made them more palatable and way less sweet.
  13. Thank you both @FluffyChix and @GreenTealael for your ideas. Has anyone had the prepared Quinoa salad from Costco?
  14. Are you trying to make me hurl? Lol read my post. I do eat eggs, shrimp and white fish. I don’t stay full as long with those “softer” proteins. But I could break up my dinner in 2 parts. I’ve never had chunks of tofu, the texture scares me.

I look on Zappos to see what I like first. (And to see what the kids are wearing these days I used to order straight away but have found the same shoes/boots at a much lower price elsewhere sometimes by googling.
  16. I am SO sick of chicken, actually I’m sick of eating so much meat. I’ve hit a culinary wall. I went through a 3+ month phase of wanting everything to be spicy, now even medium spicy is overwhelming to me. I’m such a picky eater, (texture & taste) it’s hard for me to think of alternative recipes and sources of protein. I won’t eat cheese, (except melted mozzarella mixed with something ) yogurt, mayo, avocado or sour cream to name a few. Cheeseburgh is a combo of being from Wisconsin (aka cheesehead) while I was living in Pittsburgh. Anyone have ideas? Maybe lentils would be good.

It looks fine without a belt; added bonus, your phone case matches your outfit! You look great.

I changed my mind, pants and shoes. I’m really trying to dress less like a sailor lol.

I think the duster is cute @Healthy_life2 I’m headed out to my hospitals monthly support group. I’m forcing fall today, it’s a bit warm but I’m ignoring that.
  21. Congratulations, you look fantastic!

Everyone looks so nice! I’m looking forward to cool weather, it’s been mild here so far. Baby steps, no navy blue in my shirt today.
  23. I now need one of these. I have a coat fetish.
  24. So, I asked my husband, his reply: I just told you yesterday that Aldi’s was the biggest client we have now on xyz. (He is on the board of xyz) I need to start paying attention to life.
  25. I was not good at sticking with the squats although I really need to do them. In maintenance and holding steady at 128-130. I tend to stick with ab and plank challenges better.
