I decided to go with the most navy most striped outfit I could find in my wardrobe. I even impressed myself, I have shoes that match my theme.

I have wanted to try this soup for years. When Carla Hall was on Top Chef she made this and everyone went nuts (pardon the pun) for it. I think hers might have been a vegetarian version. I’m going to look it up and see how hard it is to make, thanks for the reminder. *edited to add a link to hers. It has a lot of ingredients, I think I’ll make this in winter. Wait, Aldi’s HQ is not only 4 miles from me but is in the same town! This is pretty much a bedroom community with a population of around 27k. Looking back I have noticed they sponsor some community events, but I figured it was just the store not the corporation. I’ve lived here 6-7 years. They either keep a pretty low profile around here or I am oblivious. Ok, I just asked college kid, he looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told him I didn’t know. I’m going to ask my husband tonight, I really hope he doesn’t know so I’ll feel better.

Lol I just googled it, I live 4 miles from their corporate HQ, no clue. I learn something new everyday! I am only 1 mile from a store. This is going to sound bad. I thought it was a discount grocery store with off brands expired food and dented cans. My college son worked at Fresh Market for 2 years, (recently quit) He said: I’m not sure what my major is, but it is not going to be grocery store related! They think they know it all at 20.

I love duster sweaters, it looks great on you. I always think of Bea Arthur/Maude because that was the first time I ever saw one. (That is not a negative thing)

I was mistaken, I didn’t have 2 Dexa scans. I had something called InBody 520. It looks like it isn’t as accurate. I didn’t pay for it directly so I don’t care. I know how much each of my limbs weigh though! @FluffyChix Happy Birthday!

I went to Aldi for the first time in my life last night, I had no idea they also owned Trader Joe’s!

My Doctor does a before, a 6 month and a one year Dexa scan. I never got the before one because that appointment was right when they were moving and it wasn’t unpacked. I don’t remember my numbers from 6 months or even from last month! I do know they improved a lot. If I recall correctly I am on the high normal side. The word normal is not usually associated with me so I’ll take it.

The worse part is feeling like you peed your pants. I’m surprised they just didn’t give you a Xanax when you checked in, but I’m not a medical professional! Breathe, and maybe listen to a calm meditation app with earphones on in route and in waiting room.

Does anyone else have these workout pants? I can’t decide if I like them or not. I’m not used to having anything loose on when I’m exercising but they are very comfortable and have pockets! Under Armour

Squats done, but I had to take a break. No haters that I am aware of, I’m unsure if I have any “fans” but a lot of people are proud of me. Omg, Kathy Bates was so good in Misery! Here is a pic from July of my shoes in action. They have paint splatters on them now, but they are so comfortable I’m not in a hurry to replace them.

It’s so hard to tell because the length makes them so exaggerated. I really like the way they look and fit on your waist. They are stripes, of course I like them.

Movie: I’m taping whatever insipid Hallmark movie is on tonight. I watch them on my iPad in bed. I probably end up watching 1/3 of them depending on level on insipidness. Went for a 5 mile bike ride tonight, it is perfect weather here. 74 and sunny today. Peer pressure. None, I have a very supportive family and great friends. I chose to quit drinking 4-5 years ago and nobody ever pressures me to eat or drink anything. They let me be me and I appreciate that.

We get these at Costco, I can’t believe they are so low in calories. I usually can finish 1/2 of one which is great if I get hungry in between meals. I used a ruler to show how big one stick/serving is. Edited to add, these are not jerky. Brand is Greenridge Farm.
