  1. Thank you so much for the response. This was very motivational. I've thought about doing jazzercise. I did it many moons ago for about a year but that was when I was much lighter than I am now. I have gone to the gym three times so far and your response really helped me go. So thank you. Im hitting a stall now at 10 weeks and trying so hard not to be disheartened. 2. Did you start with a personal trainer? I have started going and have been looking up videos...but I am still not as strong or good at cardio as I would hope to be before getting a personal trainer. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Thanks for the response.... this really helped me just start to go and I've gone three times already. I am hitting a stall though and trying to keep motivated. These responses to my post have been so helpful so thank you. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I finally decided just to go (I'm at a women's gym now) and it's been okay! Still getting the hang of things. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  6. Hi guys, I'm 8 weeks post op and still havent started legitimately exercising... I was a few miles every other day but I know I need to start going to the gym. I'm so intimidated about starting...I dont know anything about the gym and dont know what to do when it comes to getting the best results. How did you start going? How often do you go? And what exercises/machines do you use for results? I have been so headstrong about everything...but feel so scared and intimated about the gym. Any advice and support would be great. Thanks! 7. Congratulations!! That is so inspirational! I'm so happy for you!! Is there anything specific you did that you feel contributed to your weight loss? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I'm exactly 2 months post op today. (YAY!) But I still get pain whenever I eat... it's not bad like when I was first out of surgery but I still have to prepare myself to feel heavy and uncomfortable for a good hour afterwards.... does this feeling ever go away? Any advice would help! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. I am almost 8 weeks post OP and everything you're dealing with, I am as well... it's been tough. I found that I like the premier caramel flavor the most and what I do is I get some decaf hazelnut coffee (I have a keurig) and I make 6 ounces of it, put a chocolate premier shake in a blender with the coffee and some ice and it's like a light milkshake...a lot lighter on the stomach for me. I personally am still having a hard time getting my water and protein but am trying my best like you. One other option someone recommended to me is the GENEPRO Protein Powder. It literally has NO taste at all which I love because literally anything can make me nauseous at this point....and that protein powder packs 30 grams of protein in one tablespoon scoop...which is so helpful. 10. Dont be scared! Everyone deals with it differently... I was a very slow healer...still healing at 8 weeks now...but very happy with no complications. I'm 25 and knew that now would be the time to turn my life around. You just have to stay motivated and know that this is for the better. You can do this! 13. Hi guys! Just curious... how many carbs do you have a day? I'm 6 weeks post OP and I know we try to stay low carb but have never gotten a clear answer. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Does it just make you have a regular stool or does it make it runny? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. I had a cap full of miralax yesterday and no bowel movements at all... usually miralax works for me so now I'm so frustrated. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Yeah your situation seems similar to mine...unfortanutely I took a big tablespoon if miralax yesterday and got nothing I'm so disheartened and struggling because I'm not losing any weight because of this. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I heard benefiber may expand in your stomach or make you feel full. Did you feel that at all? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. Yes but low sugar.... has fruit helped for you? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Yes I agree with you... women are much tougher and I was struggling so badly. You dont find that smooth move makes you run to the bathroom? I work so I dont want to take anything too intense? Have you tried stool softener at all? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. People recommend smooth move but I've heard it may give you diarrhea which I dont want because I do deal with hemorrhoids often... Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. My stomach always makes weird noises when I used miralax. Lol. But I found that when I used it yesterday I ran to the bathroom but the hard stool still stayed in there... Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Yeah I tried a suppository... they're honestly really uncomfortable and awful. do you take a full dose of miralax though? Because when I do I end up running to the bathroom and its painful plus I work so I tried to avoid any hard laxatives during the week. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. So does that serving of miralax just keep you regulated but not run to the bathroom? I took miralax but the recommend dose and I always have to run to the bathroom which is an issue because I work. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. Guys... I know this sounds really gross but I am seriously struggling to use the bathroom (number 2)...I am 6 weeks post OP and I go maybe every 4 or 5 days and it is these massive boulders that I cry to get out... literally cry. I know it's most likely the protein and the vitamins. I need help. I dont want to take laxatives because they honestly do nothing for the impacted stool already stuck in my bowels. How on EARTH do you stay regulated? This is the worst pain I have ever had. Any advice, foods you eat to go, regiments, would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you thank you thank you. 25. Hi guys! I am currently 6 weeks post op and began eating "regular" foods this week. My post OP diet was very strict. No meats, hardly any carbs or sugars...and now I've hit a stall. I was 345 at my highest weight...now I'm stuck at 307. Any tips on how to break a stall?? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
