  1. Has anyone developed an ulcer? If so, where did it hurt ?
  2. Burping is normal and what surgery did you get?
  3. Honestly didn’t know gas pains can hurt that bad.. after going home I still had really bad pain I thought there was something wrong.. I didn’t think it was the gas because I was walking a lot since the hospital but the doctor said it was the gas .. He told me to get chewable gas-x from over the counter and those were literally life savers it helped me right away!!
  4. Thank you all for your feedback, I appreciate it! I still haven’t tried anything spicy. I am trying my hardest to wait till I’m at least one month post op. I really hope it goes well when I do try it because I love hot sauce!
  5. Hello, Thank you for you feedback .. how far out of surgery did you try it?
  6. Has anyone tried foods with Chile or hot sauce ? If so, around how far out? Any stomach upset ?
  7. Try chewable Gas-x over the counter .. it helped me so much!
  8. I had nausea.. I am a week out luckily it has recently stopped .. how far out are you? And you’re always nauseated ?
  9. If it’s chocolate maybe you can substitute it for a healthy chocolate .. like my protein shake is chocolate and it taste just like chocolate milk, only has 1g sugar and 30g protein. Or try getting chewable calcium or multivitamins that are chocolate, my surgeon recommended me them and they taste just like chocolate. It’s hard, but not impossible you got this!!
  10. My surgeon told me as long as I didn’t have a virus or fever .. but I did have a little cough, it was painful coughing after surgery because of my incisions.
  11. I’m going to need to try Zofran and the lemon didn’t irritate your stomach ? How far out were you when you did the lemon ? I been trying ginger tea, the peppermint one sounds good! That’s how I feel!! Even any smell makes me gag !!!
  12. Thank you guys! I will try both .. I’m one week out and I have so much nausea, I feel like throwing up but I haven’t. It makes me not want to eat anything.. even the smell of food makes me feel sick

  17. That’s really good! I’m drinking the chocolate premier protein on.. I could only drink 1 a day because I feel super full all the time .. I’ve never heard of the lemonade one.. what brand is it ?

  19. That’s how I feel, it’s hard. They expect me to drink two a day. But I feel full all the time. I’m a week post op
  20. Good evening everyone!! How much protein drinks were you guys able to drink a week post op?
  21. I as well had the RNY... I will have to the cheese .. how many days out did you try cheese? And the turkey sounds good, I’ll have to try that once I start my soft foods .. I will also try sea food hopefully I like it this time around
  22. Lol it feels like forever right !! Good thing it’s not liquids though lol .. the bad thing about me is that I don’t like sea food ? .. what cheese do you use? And what surgery did you get?
  23. Nice ! I can’t wait to be able to eat some eggs.. my surgeon has me for 1st week po clear liquids, 2nd week po all purée foods, and 3rd and 4th week soft foods.. has cheese been harsh on you?
  24. That actually sounds really good lol.. thank you so much! I will have to try it, I wish I didn’t have to blend it. But hopefully this week goes by fast ?
