May 2019 Surgeries ?
You have come to far to “take a bit “. I’m not sure if you had. 2 week liquid diet like most, but stay strong don’t give in to temptation. This is Day 4 for me and with it being a holiday I know temptations is everywhere. But guess what that’s never going to change so hold on you can do it....

Pre Op Diet
Day 3 and it’s getting better. I made breakfast for my kids this morning and I didn’t touch the bacon ( my weakness) . I guess in my mind I feel like if I can’t follow a 2 week diet what does say about my long term success. For everyone who’s on this journey I applaud your efforts, because nothing about this is easy.

Pre Op Diet
So Yesterday I received all of my shakes and vitamins along with information on what to expect before, during, and after my surgery. My surgeons office provides you with a starter kit to be successful on this journey. Today was my first day and I had a protein shake (Iced Latte) for breakfast and a chocolate protein shake for lunch. My co worker made me 3 different flavored sugar free jellos , so I had that as a snack. The exciting part is that I can have a meat of my choice and vegetables every night for dinner. How did you do on your pre op diet, any suggestions ?

Good luck !!!- No family support
I can relate to what you are going through. I started this journey in January and that’s when I mentioned it to my mother. She pretty much blew it off and was like “you don’t need that “ , “you are not that big”, “ just exercise and stop eating late .” So I continued going to my dr appointments and I kept trying to bring it up whenever I would see her. Fast forward to today , I got the news that I was approved and I haven’t shared that with her and we talk about everything. So it bothers me , but I have a super supportive husband that says nobody needs to know unless you want too tell them. I’m going to try and educate her on why I’m doing this and hopefully she will understand and support me just like she has with everything else in my life. If not it will be ok because in the end we all made this decision to live longer healthier lives. Good luck to you !!!!!- Got my surgery time!!
Good luck tomorrow, keep us posted ??- Now its the WAITING game..
I was submitted on a Monday and approved on Wednesday. My surgery date is 5-22-19. Good luck!!!- MAY 2019 Sleevers

Thank you- APPROVED !!!!!!
My advocate just called and said the words we all wait to hear on this journey “APPROVED.” Thank you all for the support and the comments. My case was submitted on Monday 04/22/19 and I was approved yesterday 04/25/19. Praise God!!!!!!!- I Hate waiting !!!!
Thank you ladies, I will definitely do that Monday.- I Hate waiting !!!!
I’m about to loose my mind over here waiting to see if I will be approved or denied. My biggest concern is that I will be denied for the 2yr weight history requirement. Since I didn’t have insurance in 2017 I have no documentation of my weight, only for 2018. My advocate suggested I write a letter explaining why I don’t have documented weights for that year and submit pictures, I sent 3 with a letter. Everything else should qualify me. 3 month diet Psych eval Upper GI Sleep study BMI 39.6 with High Blood Pressure Talked to my advocate today and she said the coordinator will contact the insurance on Tuesday if they don’t hear anything before then. I have yet to talk to anyone at my insurance office trusting my surgeons to handle this. Do I call myself to check the status or just wait ?- Approved!!!
Congratulations !!!!!!- Approved!!!! 2 Days To GO!!!!
