I got the call!!!! I’m APPROVED!!!! Thank God I have stuck to my pre-op liquid diet this whole time!!! It’s so real now! I’m so ready to start this new chapter in my life. If anything’, this pre-op diet definitely put me in the right mindset. Watching everyone celebrate on Easter with tons of food and alcohol didn’t even bother me at all because I wanted this more then anything!!! This is why I know I’m going to take this tool/gift I’m given and do everything I can to succeed!

Thanks everyone! I think I aged about 12 years the past week and a half waiting to hear! So glad it’s official!!! I can’t wait to share the “losers bench” with everyone else and I wish to everyone still “pre-surgery” a quick and successful process/surgery!!

Yay! so awesome getting that info. When I was waiting for approval, I was getting all this info from the docs and I just kept thinking none of this means anything until I get approval!

I know what you mean about watching everyone celebrate Easter with food...I have a big retirement party the day before my surgery that im going to that's being catered by an Italian restaurant, but Ill be sipping my protein shakes!!

Ugh yea...but it’s worth it in the end! We don’t want to risk a fatty liver when they start the surgery!

I am having my surgery on Monday and I am waiting for my surgeon's office to confirm the time. I told them first thing in the morning and from my understanding first surgery is around 6:30 am.

Thanks Susie! Good luck to as well on Monday! I’m scheduled for 7:30am tomorrow and waiting on the hospital to call me for arrival time. I believe you were the very first person to answer my first post I put on here worrying about my BMI and getting the approval.... now look at us! Surgery is happening!

Yes look at us now. I remember you having a little bit of angst about whether or not you would be approved. I am so glad that things worked out for you. We are definitely on our way to living our best lives yet.
