  5. Just wondering what meats are you eating 6 weeks in and how is your stomach adjusting to it

  7. I had a BMI of 38 but had high blood pressure and sleep apnea and I was approved. Good luck I hope all goes well
  8. Any meats make me sick, beef, pork, turkey. I was a big time meat eater before surgery, now the smell and the thought of eating any meats makes me want to hurl.

  14. I just posted about this, I’m in the same boat but it’s meat that makes me sick, the thought of having to eat it makes me want to vomit but, I know it’s a necessity for protein.
  15. Since I’ve had gastric bypass I hate meat, I hate the look of it the smell of it. I try to eat it for the protein because I’m not able to stomach protein shakes anyone. Has anyone else gone through this?
  16. So your on the right path, i promise you it gets better.
  17. I’ve experienced this but mine started about two weeks after surgery. It’s not unusual to have depression after surgery. I think you should talk to a professional about why you are feeling this way and medication if need be, hoping you’ll feel better soon.
  18. My first time felt like it was stuck in my chest, I haven’t tried them since
  19. I actually had to restart everything again, 6 weeks into my Bariatric surgery they realized I had a build up of scar tissue and had to go back in and remove it starting everything over again. Now I’m at the soft food phase again.
  20. I’m so afraid of trying new foods that I’m eating just yogurt, mashed potatoes and pudding.
  21. Since having this surgery meat makes me sick, I can tolerate fish but only certain kinds of fish.
  22. Had my first experience 2 weeks post op, was in the shower got light headed and nauseas, then all of the sudden diarrhea with continuous shaking it was horrible especially because I don’t know what I had eaten to bring it on.
  23. Good luck on your surgery, you’ll be fine. Sending thoughts and prays from Staten Island, New York
  24. What was it like after you transitioned to soft foods
