  5. Hi. What works best to remove scars
  6. April...this surgery is more mental than physical. So if psych didnt pass it...accept it as a warning to your mental health.
  7. Sardines are my new enjoyment
  8. I hear good things about them..congrats
  9. Hi...I was told there are no protein pills..is this not true
  10. Carnation breakfast drink. Not as much protein but the taste isnt chalky. I have same issue as u. My nut told me not to worry and just make good food choices
  11. I wish everyone a happy and safe New year...full of high protein food choices ([emoji5] ) and blessings. This was the first new year since age age 18 or so that I didnt have cocktail or glass of wine...and I still felt great!!!!!
  12. Same here. But when I do eat I'm making sure I choose high protein items. Happy new year
  13. Sorry for your loss. I hope your wife will be able to get here sooner than you expect. Sounds like your going through alot...try to stay out of the depression zone. Going through such a life changing experience makes it easy for you to feel down and depressed especially since your alone. So focus on all positive things if possible or atleast try to. Remember..doctors are doctors...they do the surgery and that's kinda it..they are not here for the mental side of it.or to hold our hand. So maybe you should go to group sessions...all hospitals have them. And use this as a resource and for now phone convos with wife. It may be good idea to get a bariatric counselor they can be very helpful
  14. Yes...its very interesting. no wonder our society has so much health issues and obesity...sooooo much revolves around food.
  15. Go gurl @no to both. I have a sweet potatoe for lunch. I'm gonna give the premiere water a try because I'm over the whole protein drinks and powder. They make me gag. I love spicy foods also. I cant wait till I can have some sushi
  16. Also I baked a piece of fresh Whiting fish last night and ate that..sooo DELICIOUS and soo much protein. Because I cant drink my protein I'm trying hard to eat it. I'm in philly
  17. Ughhh the protein is something I cant handle any more...disgusting and it takes me FOREVER to drink...ohhh gurl yess. I love buffalo dip. I've been craving buffalo chicken wings..so maybe I'll make that for the new yr
  18. Nice. Congrats. I had mine the 10th. What city are you in. What foods have you tried. For me..I eat sardines eggdrop soup and hot and sour soup daily
  19. When did u have your surgery
  20. Ugghhhh that sucks. I'm no doctor..but pay attention to the foods you wat when u vomit....and put them on your do not eat list. Try bland soups like egg drop soup, broth from pho soup, cream of wheat, refried beans blended with broth. I hope it gets better for you. Vomit daily sounds horrible and doesnt seems good for your healing tummy. Do you truly regret the surgery? Or are you just going through the early on regrets of not feeling normal anymore
