Kris77 got a reaction from Dub in OOTD
That’s awesome!! I wear scrubs at work too and they are colored according to size! I’m in a XS (yellow for us!) and man it’s a long shot away from the XL (tan) that I use to wear. I remember seeing others in yellow and thinking I wish I was and NOW I AM!! I still can’t believe it.
Way to go Kristie!!

This yogurt bowl has become a hyper fixation snack for me and the kiddos. My little one and I usually share one 💞
Kefir yogurt, fruit (I do berries, mangoes, pomegranate, whatever I have on hand really), pumpkin seeds, a sprinkle of chia seeds, crushed pecans/walnuts/pistachios, and a drizzle of honey.

Kris77 reacted to Bypass2Freedom in Break-ups 😓
My boyfriend and I broke up over the weekend, and I just wanted to reach out to my bari-family for support 😓
I remember reading loads about how after surgery lots of people found that their relationships broke down for one reason or another, and the statistics around this being quite shocking.
Whilst I don't contribute my break-up to my surgery/weight loss, I am struggling at the moment with the emotional side of things following it all. Rather than emotional eating, I am finding that I have 0 appetite at all, I just don't want to eat, I don't want to do my exercise, ugh. But I am also scared of just doing nothing.
I don't know guys, I am rambling, but either way , just wanted to reach out to see how others have dealt with this in their own lives. ❤️

i haven't been logging my food regularly for quite a while now as i felt like i could manage on maintenance autopilot.
anyway, looks like i need to tweek my diet as i've been unsuccessful in bringing my weight back up to an acceptable level for months now.
its kinda challenging as i've been eating out 90% of our meals all these said months, and its hard to guess the calories content of restaurant meals. gotta try tho.
so here we go! my first tracked meal in a reaaallly long time: cottage cheese, blueberries, black pepper and anchovies (dont judge me! lol)
193 calories (easy to log cuz i made it, ha!)

I've never shared my photos of what the skin actually looked like, but I can tell you that most of us can easily hide the loose skin in clothes. I've had extensive plastic surgery (three of them, to be exact), but this is what I looked like BEFORE I had plastic surgery. See any loose skin? I promise you that it's there - this was after losing over 200 lbs, so I had a TON of it. But as you can see, it's not noticeable at all in clothes. I just tucked the stomach skin into jeans or "tummy control" leggings and wore slightly oversized, long-ish tops. Plus 3/4 length or longer sleeves to cover my batwing arms. No one could see my excess skin (except for my husband and doctor, of course...)

The Baleaf brand was the material compression like? I feel like some are so light that there isn’t much support

I’ve found the Aeropostale Curvy Premium skinny leggings fit well on a curvy figure. They also come in short which is good for me :) I think they come in long as well for those of you who are blessed with more height. -

So this outfit is nothing special, throw on a sweater and some booties and it is pretty much what I wear to work every day.
What is special is that these are my favorite style of jeans that I bought in multiple pairs and sizes. This particular pair has been hanging in a closet for years!!
It takes a lot for me to lose weight in my hips and things but I’m finally able to wear these size 16 pants again!!! I have lost about 50 lbs and have dropped from a size 20 to a size 16!! And I am loving it! (After these are too big though, I’m going to officially having to start shopping for pants again!)

Ms. Arabesque - You inspired me to go RED! You look stunning, Lady in Red... Just a casual outfit (very loose after recent surgery) for the holidays and, appears to match our guest room at Hotel Greenbrier...Haha. Do you all like the new palazzo sweat style pants this year? I thought I'd give them a try - but hard to wear big clothes again after years of obesity. I think I prefer more fitted. Also, treated myself to these
red spectators...

Three months out and launched first modeling gig for winter outer gear with new thinner arms and tummy. Hands still a bit swelled to me on unedited proofs - BUT company photographer seemed pleased with our shoot.

Happy New Year 2025 everyone!!! 12 weeks out sleeping comfortably on both sides with arms under my pillow. No more aches or soreness waking up. Our December holiday getaway was a wonderful diversion feeling it aided greatly to next stage of healing. The surgeon mentioned colder temperatures might exasperate nerve pain, but I had no issues. We loved the crisper + snowy days. Invigorating! And, samplings of Penn State ice cream was the best medicine indeed.

I made a turkey butt cake for family thanksgiving this past weekend.
Also used the rest of the cake batter to make cupcakes, then made cheesecake brownies, a pumpkin pie, a cheesecake pumpkin pie, apple pie sandwiches (pastry top par cooked and then the bottoms topped with pie filling and then par baked then topped and baked the rest of the way), Peanut Butter chocolate rice crisp treats, and my 12yr old made cake pop balls.

You know I like labneh (& am getting too lazy to make my own every time) but I found this one this morning. Yes, truffle. Can’t wait to taste it (have to finish a tub of one with fennel first). Christmas may have come early. Yum!
