I use GNC Lean Shakes (pre-made). They're lactose-free and taste great.- just a thought
No, I haven't had that problem. I haven't had dry mouth or any decrease in saliva.- The journey continues...
I hope you're able to quit smoking permanently. You'll be so much healthier.- Goal after I reach my goal.
That's GREAT! You may have found a new job or hobby that you're passionate about. Way to go.- WLS Brings Me Peace Of Mind
Very happy for you. Yes, it does make a difference. I'm finally hearing positive comments about my body instead of the negative ones.- Yeast infection
Haven't had a yeast infection in years, thankfully, they are a pain. So sorry you're going through this. I'm just five and half months post-op and haven't had any trouble. I did the sleeve.- Post Op weight lose
Everybody's weight loss is different because there are so many factors including how much you weighed to begin with, your age, and your gender. It varies a lot. Just follow the program and it'll be fine.- Pain meds
Maybe an allergy medication might help you better with those sinus headaches.- I hate my neck
I don't have that "waddle" anymore now that I've lost some weight and I use firming lotion on it every night so that hopefully I won't get the wrinkly sharpei neck. I guess I'll wear scarves or turtlenecks if it bothers me. ?- Diabetes
So sorry to hear that. My husband and brother are both diabetic and it's hard on your system. My husband takes 4 medications and my brother is on Insulin. Take care.- What was your comorbidity(s)?
I had a 40 BMI, so I was approved anyway, but my comorbidities were Obstructive Sleep Apnea and GERD- When did your weight loss slow down?
Mine started slowing down at 3 months.- Post OP regrets
Why are you regretting it? Pain? Lack of food? You're only 5 days out, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Give it some time. It gets better. I don't have any regrets and I'm 5.5 months post-op.- weight gain
What calorie level are you at? What are you noticing when tracking your food? Are you writing down every single bite that goes into your mouth? Are you still getting in your 64 oz of water each day? Are you still focusing on protein? Do you get any exercise?- Idk about my surgeon
No, I had liquids for 2-3 weeks, then soft foods for two weeks, then solids. But each surgeon is different.- Eating Salad
I've been afraid to try one yet. I'm 5.5 months post-op. I just have the feeling my stomach will reject it.- Questions about stalls! New here!
Stalls are a normal, although discouraging, part of the process.- 1 year post-op starting to gain weight
First, congratulations on the 100 pound weight loss. Now you know what to do. Go back to weighing and measuring and tracking everything you eat and stick with protein.- What will satisfy my head hunger?!
You have to distract yourself. Watch TV, do a puzzle, get up and do some exercise, anything to stop thinking about food.- Considering Gastric sleeve surgery
Tons of good information here. Read through the forums and see peoples' experiences and the pros and cons. Good luck with your WLS journey and decision.- Gastric sleeve date June 29th
But the pre-op diet isn't really that different from the post-op diet, depending on what your surgeon has you do. It's easy to be disciplined for just two weeks and you'll need to be disciplined and follow a plan for the rest of your life. You've got this, you can do it.- I CANNOT Pee!
Hoping you get some relief from the gas pains. Walking really is the best thing for them if you can force yourself to do it. Maybe it you get upright to walk it'll help you pee. - Pouch re-set
