Yeast infection

I keep getting a yeast infection or thrush since my RNY a year ago. I take acidophilus twice a day but about every 3 weeks I need to take a Diflucan.
Anyone else have trouble with too much yeast?
I don’t eat bread or carbs, I hardly have any sugar.

  • Are you sure it’s a yeast infection. There are other things that mimic a yeast infection. eg Lichen Sclerosus. You should go and see your gynae and get it checked out

Haven't had a yeast infection in years, thankfully, they are a pain. So sorry you're going through this. I'm just five and half months post-op and haven't had any trouble. I did the sleeve.

I had that Lichen stuff 15 years ago. It was awful! I get really paranoid when I 1st feel the thrush! I have been to the dr & had a pap done to rule out any STD’s. And I didn’t have any! PRAISE JESUS!
