I love Zumba!!! I go every Saturday at the gym. We have a great time!! It is soooooooooo much fun and there are all shapes and sizes in the class. I shake my booty and have fun doing it too!!! Fran xo

I have had 4 fills now and down 61 lbs since May 19th. I'm feeling absolutely wonderful. I go to the gym every day and once a week do a Zumba class (aerobics to latin music). So far I have not had any complications. I love Looosssiiieee!!! (named my band...lol) Hope everyone is doing well since surgery. Would love to see how everyone is doing with their weight loss. Some patients have fluorscopy done the day after surgery and when they get thier fills. My doctor does not do that. For all the newbies welcome aboard lapband journey!! Just remember not to overdo the first few days after surgery and walk....walk...walk!!! That will relieve the gas pains. Also make sure you drink your water!!! I also use GasX strips when the gas was unbearable. Another trick that a friend who had the surgery told me was when and if you get nausea sniff on some peppermint tea....it really works!!! Sorry but you should have researched the lapband deeper before deciding to have it done!! This is not a miracle cure just a tool to help with your eating habits. Your mind has to be set to want to lose weight but if you have a negative attitude about it than it wasn't for you. I would do it again and wish I would have done it sooner.
