Hi, i am at the same place that you are-waiting on last result which should be in 3 days. The woman that handles the ins at my hosp said my bc/bs hmo takes about 2 days for the medical group to make a decision. I just have faith god will work everything out in his time. Good luck to you

I have bc/bs hmo and i called 3 different times and got the same response which was its covered as long as you get a referral from your pcp. My pcp said she has no problem giving me a referral. Soooo..... I'm just going thru all the test now. Say a prayer

Hi gon, i went for my first visit a week ago and my surgeon talked about the surgery and what it entailed. Asked about the different diets i had tried. Then scheduled a zillion tests i have to have done before surgery can be scheduled. Good luck

Hi Guys, I Guess I Really Am A Newbie. On Tues. I Will Just Be Having A Visit With My Pcp To Try To Talk Her Into Writing A Referral For Me. My Insurance Covers It 100% But Not Without Her Okay. Last Year She Would'nt Even Give Me A Rx For Xenical Diet pills. She Said You Just Need To Diet And Exercise....like I Have'nt Tried That. I Have Had 3 Ankle Surgeries, 3 Knee Surgeries And Now Hip Pain. Can't Begin To Tell You About The Pain I Live With On A Daily Basis From The Arthritis And The Depression From It All. Any Suggestions To Help Me Convince Her ?
