Argon's Activities
I not only will send you ALLL postcards, but invitations to join me!! Except Yoda. (that's for my grandma!) Just kidding... you can have one too, I GUESS. It will be fabulous, when it happens. I don't know what I could make my new Xmas goal. My next milestone after getting out of the 200's was to make it to 184 (which would be 100lbs lost) But that's 17lbs from now, and 5 weeks + 2 days (til I go home). That's WAAAAAY too much for me to get my hopes up for. I dunno... what's a significant # inbetween 199 and 184? How about I aim for 194 and pray for more, by Xmas? If things go well, and I really think I can do it, I'll work my ass off to make that 184, but... for now, my new Xmas goal is 194. But for now, I'm just crossing my fingers to see a 1 as the first number on the scale! I was all ready, with a camera out this morning. (side note, I forgot to tell ya... I tried on some jeans at Old Navy this weekend, and a sweater and shirt {you'll see pictures when I get to the 100's!}... I tried on the jeans just for the hell of it. Size 16's... and not in a plus size store, even thought I'm sure they consider them that. I went to pull them up, and was SURE they wouldn't... but they DID! They're quit 'fitted', and I'm a little scared to wear them to work... but they fit, and they're not tight. I went and paid for them, and they came up as $9.99... I thought "What the hell?!" but kept my mouth shut! I came back the next day, searched for other jeans, but I couldn't find ANY in any sizes bigger than 10, so I bought a size 18 of the EXACT same size 16 jeans I got. They're a little less scary for me to wear... and at least I'll have the 16's when I'm ready for 'em! And all for $9.99 each! Just thought last night, that I should have bought one of the same jeans, in every size on the way down... and 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, and dare I dream, even lower!?)

Green's grumblings

Green's grumblings
OOOooooh.... yeah. I forgot that was you. You are incredibly strong to be able to NOT weigh yourself, or to not run to the store and buy one. Am I correct... you don't even know how much you weigh, right? (you never looked when they weighed you, and asked not to be told?) How are things feeling, clothes getting bigger? Did you do measurements?

Adjustment Doctors in Canada-Current list
I meant that he will never be available for OTHER people. (like how you could go and get a fill from 99% of other lapband surgeons/fill dr's on that list... none of us {who are not his patients} can go see Dr. Beausoleil. ** apparently except the rare, odd person he decides to allow)

Yoda: :peep: Wheezy:  LOL Anyways, it wasn't the AMAZING news I was hoping for, but it's still awesome. 201 this morning. I saw a glimpse of my future in the 100's, the other day, and jumped the gun. Perhaps I'll be smart and stay off the scale til NEXT wed. Ehh.... who am I kidding? I've got no self control. :|

Can You Go In Hot Tubs
They'll probably say 6 weeks... I believe that's what I was told. I waited until I was scab-less... just to be sure. (not for a hot tub, just a bathtub!)

Wheezy Whispers-AKA September's Goals
Haha.... if that's what I gotta do for a sniff, OK! :peep: LOL No, I think I'm back to 'normal' now. I had a pretty decent size bowl of Soup for dinner. Hmmm... maybe you should give that fill a 2nd thought. And you're half full!

Hmmm... good question. I'm not sure. Maybe they start selecting people right away? I dunno... this is 2nd hand news, from my mom, from my grandma. I bet my cousin applied, had an interview, and is in the 'pool' of possible contestants. (from what I understand, that's how it goes). Thanks for ruining it, Yoda. LOL just kidding

Argon's Activities
Something else.... I found out last night, that my 2nd cousin is going to be on Deal or No Deal (the Canadian edition, coming up next year, I think). How cool is that!? I made Dan apply to be on it, and I'm working on my application. Who else wants in? You have until the 17th to do it! https://www.canada.com/globaltv/dondcasting/application.html

Yoda's Jedi Journals (aka Yoda's Yammerin's)
Oh dear, Yoda.... I know the rubber duckies you speak of... LOL! Sorry about your tire ordeal. You should see the problems I've had trying to get snow tires. I've brought my car into Canadian Tire twice, with an appointment, and dropped my car off, to come back and pick it up, and be told they couldn't do it. First time was because the tires wouldn't fit. 2nd time was because they wanted me to get 4, I only wanted (read:can afford) 2. So..... I've found somewhere that has the right tires... in my excitement, I forgot to ask if they've got a PROBLEM installing only 2. I don't think they will, because I told them that's how many I wanted ordered in. Cross your fingers for me! I'm waiting for the call that I can come get them installed! You wouldn't believe how expensive 17" tires are! The cheapest I could find were $200 each. Anyways, yes... Mexico. I'd love to go too... if you're not just being sarcastic saying you're going to run away from our winter and go to Mexico, Lila, tell more!

Argon's Activities
Oh, yes, yes... this was an anomaly! It's never like that. I feel normal now, but I'm not gonna try eating something real for a little while longer. I'm still craving chicken noodle (lipton), so I'm having that again for dinner! Don't worry guys, I KNOW I couldn't live eating that little (mentally as well)... the couple weeks after my fill was bad, but not even the same as this weekend. And I definitely wouldn't tell you about this specific time if it was something ordinary for me! I'm amazed I could function those days. And I am FOR SURE taking my vitamins now. I've brought them to work, so they're there sitting in front of me all day, so I have several opportunities to take them during the day. Yeah, I think mushrooms might not be a good idea anymore. I've eaten them before without any problems, and I know anything I would have eaten that night would have done the same. At least they were veggies, even if they were deep fried! :omg: Oh, and Wheezy... you've gotta have a resizing option in one of those programs. If you can't find it, try looking in the "help" in that program, and typing in 'resize'... see if that gives you anything. Do you have Photoshop? That, I would know how to resize things in. Mandi

letter from the minister of health about the lab band
Yeah... tell the people in Alberta who got it for free, that! Andree, IS there anyone in the Yukon doing the bypass? Or would you have to go somewhere such as Alberta? If there's no one in the Yukon, you'd be looking at a 5-7 yr wait for the bypass... if there is a dr. in the Yukon, his wait is probably almost as long! I'm not saying that you should get a bypass, but once you find out if there is a bypass Dr. in the Yukon (or anywhere up that north), you can then reply to the health minister, telling him that you don't want to drain their health system for 5-7 (or whatever) many more years, while you gain more and more weight, and develop more and more health problems.

Argon's Activities
Thanks guys! I did have a good time. I didn't get to go to Peggy's Cove Not enough time. Maybe next time... and hopefully when it's warmer. I didn't get to go into the Lower Deck, but I walked past it, and peeked inside, and woulda took a picture if I'd had my stupid camera that time! We were supposed to go there, and planned to, but our guides had different plans for us, so we went to places like the Rogue's Roost, the Shoe Store (I think), Maxwell Plum's (so Lauren could watch the Rider's game). It was super nice, and I'd love to live there some day. It would have been 100% better if: - I didn't have a wisdom tooth gnawing away at my jaw - I didn't wreck my stomach somehow on the way to Halifax, which it turn made everyday hellish. Let me give you a breakdown, on the way there, we stopped at Tim's for brekkie. I got a coffee and some timbits. I drank most of my coffee, had 2 timbits, then slimed for an hour. (luckily Lauren was asleep in the back, and I did it pretty silently into my Tim's cup.) Got there, and were taken out for a late lunch at a place we just HAD to go to, I believe it was "Mexico Lindo's. Tried to play it safe and ordered nacho's. I'd had them a few night before, successfully. I ate maybe 6 chips, and was done. I wasn't feelin' bad, I just couldn't eat anymore. We walked around downtown, then started hitting pubs... anything I drank wasn't going down well, so I started drinking water. Later on, tried another Caesar, and was hoping that would enable me to share Dan's artichoke dip. It didn't. :grouphug: Next day, everyone went to Cora's for breakfast. I ordered tea. I soooo badly wanted to have some of Dan's raspberry/cream cheese crepe, but the tea wasn't liking me either. Went to the bathroom twice during their breakfast, and slimed tea. Later on that day, after some shopping, I stopped at Jugo Juice and decided to give a smoothie a try. I saw that they had protein ones, so I got the HIGH protein... like 50+ grams in it. It was grooooosss... but I choked it down, and it stayed down, so I was happy. For dinner that night, at a pub, during the rider game.... there was nothing on the menu that seemed safe, so I ordered some deep fried mushrooms.... Dan ate most, but I managed to eat about 5 or 6 tiny ones. I drank water that whole night, slimed it up a few times. Next day, hot smoothie from Tim's for breakfast, 2 mcnuggets for lunch, then slimed and pb'd during the drive home. That night (last night) I made some chicken noodle soup... and ate alot... at least I think so. And I drank probably half a litre of milk. (trying to soothe) Anyways, I considered finding that fill lady (in Nova Scotia)'s phone number, and doing an emergency defill... but I knew I'd regret it, and hoped this was all temporary... and it seems it is/was. I have some more chick. noodle soup for lunch, and I'm gonna stay as liquidy/mushy as I can for a few days. I told Dan that I BETTER have a good loss this week to make this hell a little more worth it. I peeked this morning, and I think it's gonna be GOOD tomorrow! VERY good! Stay tuned!

Can somebody tell me what these are called?!
I bought this thing this weekend... even though I didn't absolutely love the colour (though, it'll probably look nice when the light hits it). If you can't tell from the pic, its a 'mobile' with those flat, iridescent-y shells. I have this idea that I'd like to make my own, with shells the colour *I* want them to be. But I have no idea what those shells are called, to look up somewhere online to buy them. I can't just say 'sea shells', cause I'm not getting the results I want. Anyone have any clue? (sorry it's sideways!)
