  1. (not weird, green... it would be interesting.. and maybe an ego boost to do well!) Ok guys. I have a secret. It's something I haven't wanted to mention here, because I didn't want to be judged. I think you guys know me well enough, and hopefully won't think I'm weird, or whatever because of this. Last summer, a week before I moved to NB, I got a piercing. It was something I had wanted for quite a while. I got it at the spur of the moment, I wanted to surprise Dan... just did it. I wasn't quite ready for it. Luckily, and kind of unfortunetly, it's something quite easy to hide, and that's what I've been doing with it, 95% of the time. I got my septum pierced. What the heck is that, some of you are thinking... right? The best way to describe it is one of the reasons I'm scared to show it. You know 'bull-rings'? Right in the middle of the nose, not the nostrils.. inbetween. My biggest fear is that someone would say something like "How fitting... a cow with the bull-ring", or something to that extent. That's what stopped me from getting it in the first place, all this time. I didn't want to get it 'fat'. I just haven't gotten to the point YET where I feel like I could get away with it, and not be scared of that. I know it's stupid (and I'm sure some of you think I AM stupid for getting/having it). It's tiny... probably barely noticable, and the kind of ring I have at most would make it look like I have little tiny silver snot balls on the inner edge of each nostril (3mm balls, to be exact). So that's it. Just getting that out there. Maybe telling you guys is the first step to me ultimately walking into work in my silvery nosed glory. uhh... I also have big holes in my ears. :phanvan I'm weighing myself tomorrow morning... be gentle to me... I think it might be rough! This is not me... I wish. I think she looks good. She's got one... this is 'roughly' what it looks like. (except a different 'type' of ring)
  2. I don't think you NEED your Dr's approval anyways. It's just a health 'check'... did he check everything else he was supposed to? I can't remember, do you get the form or whatever back, or does your Dr. send it in himself? I'm sure Dr. C can do some sweet talking.
  3. Awwww.... what?! Man, every freakin' time I went to the Dr. my blood pressure was high... cause I was FREAKED every time I went! Call Dr. Cobourn and ask what he thinks... maybe he can call your Dr. Go to the Dr. again tomorrow and check it again!
  4. good luck neenagh, I hope a defill solves it. And hopefully its not a complete defill.
  5. Astrotoes, you'll do great... I am! And I'm sure that is it... the move. I've never even had to leave a message... someone's always answered, so I'm sure something's going on. Gaffer: do you KNOW for sure that you'll get that much back from AHC? What about the amount you'll get back when you do your income tax? That will be a good chunk... at least it will be for me.
  6. Just so you know, you can have any Protein Drink you want after surgery! If you find one you can stand, whether it's cheap or expensive, hold on to it!
  7. If I'm only going to get on the treadmill once during my workout, is it better to do it before my weights/abs/etc or after I do those things? I was told that doing it after the 'other' stuff is better for weightloss, and before is better for toning. Anyone know for sure?
  8. Oh, ok... I thought she wouldn't get how you can eat so little, blah, blah... I got it now. When are you gonna get the defill? (if she's coming tomorrow, how will you swing it?) She'll think you turned into some dainty little lady, eatin' like you do! And thank you... workin' on hittin' that 100. Not counting on it being this week though!! haha
  9. Doesn't she go to the hospital? Tough luck, greeny! Good job, Yoda. I'm sure it'll help alot. And I'm sure you'll feel totally fine the couple days before your defill and have to cancel it. to you too.
  10. OOooooh no, neenagh. I hope it's just too much irritation and you need a break. Even hope for a defill to 'rest' for a while, cause you don't wanna deal with slips! Let us know what happens!!!
  11. That'd just be an extra needle! You don't need it. It's not bad.
  12. yeah, how'd it go? What's it for? (I mean, give me the name, address and your work hours so I can visit/stalk you at work. LOL No, just interested in what you do!!)
  13. Oh good gawd, Cloe! TOOOOooooooo much! If you are too tight, don't wait it out! What?! They like even numbers all of a sudden?! Easier to right a 2 than 1.8, I guess! Geeesh. HUGI - congrats! neenagh - I forgot what I was going to say green - I'd think about a fill! I haven't had a burger since banding either. I've tried, but a maybe 2 bites, and it's over awwwww.... I miss 'em. I think about trying again sometimes.
  14. I think she's one of those blonds who thinks she's a redhead.. strawberry blond?! psssssshh... gimme a break! LOL

Is it that much more expensive? $999 (US) for the base model, which includes the computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse? I guess you can get cheapo computers nowadays, but this bad boy will last you years, and you'll still use it for more and more years, when you upgrade to the next better one!
  16. When's your mom coming? Does she know about your band? And yes!!! Get that defill! I just 'de-check' the "show your signature" box sometimes.
  17. yeah, I don't know.. maybe I could pull off short hair... I dunno. And glad you're in, becca! Snowboarders, here we come!!!!
  18. Mmmm.... all this talk about salads has made me want to give 'em a try again! Caesar salad tomorrow!
  19. ehh... 1 pound in 5 weeks still isn't enough to cancel a fill! Congrats though!!
  20. Congrats, Yasmina, you're doing awesome!!! (you cook for your dog?)
  21. Did you get weighed at your fam. dr too? Maybe your scale isn't very reliable.... throw it out and don't buy a new one!! Make yourself go to your Dr. if you wanna get weighed enough!!
  22. Interesting... no, I didn't, but it'd be something good to find out. It does take quite a while to get your money from EI though, you'd probably be back at work before you got it! (I just know this cause I had a boyfriend who had to take a few weeks off from work and applied for 'sickness benefits". As long as you know that, and have something to live on while you're home recovering. Good luck :scared:
  23. And I see 20lbs on your ticker!! How much did you lose on Optifast?!
  24. Oh god... who knooooows! I can see myself being in Calgary before Edmonton, for sure. Dan will probably drag me out there to see his family again someday soon. You can come to Calgary and save me from 'family time'! I also see a super short, platinum blond hair-do in my future... and screaming something about insanity?!

Mac!!!! I'd kill for one of those new 24" iMac!!! ahhhh.... *drool* I've had both. I've always had nothing but problems with my PC's. CD drives dying, viruses, whatever! And not ONE problem with either of the 2 mac's I've had. I had my first Mac (iMac) for 3 years, but sold it (for more than half of what it was worth, mind you!) after being convinced that I needed this $3000 PC to do what I do on it. That freakin' PC, ONE YEAR LATER, will not turn on, and not one place can figure out why! Anyways, for what you want to do with it, a Mac will be your best friend.
