  1. oh my God! If this isn't motivational, I don't know what is! you've made phenomenal progress! You look great! Can I ask - What do you think is the biggest reason for your weight loss success?
  2. hello - no, there is no other reason apart from the fact that I am 5ft2 with a 52 BMI. Even though I am very heavy, I am still able - All I require is drastic assistance rather than my anatomy completely changed.
  3. Hi All, Was anyone offered the gastric sleeve with a BMI over 50? The doctors recommend a bypass for me but I do not want to go down the malabsorption route - I'd rather have the vsg surgery and work hard in the gym.
  4. Hello - I'm looking to get the VSG surgery within the next few months. Could someone confirm if they have had surgery at this hospital or know someone who has? If not, can you recommend any hospitals in Turkey or Eastern Europe?
  5. OMG! Lost so much weight so quickly! how? what was your routine?
  6. The surgeon I'm going with only requires a low card, healthy diet. No liquid diet required - Thankfully!
  7. Amazing! I'll be getting mine done soon - I hope to be as successful as you in such a short space of time. ?
  8. Heya - How did your procedure go? I ended up not having the surgery. My mother talked me out of it. However, I am planning to get my surgery done in april - I'm looking at clinics in Turkey.
  9. Good Morning All, I'm due to have my VSG surgery abroad in the Czech Republic in September. There's a huge stigma around getting surgery abroad, especially when we have the National Health Service where I live in the UK. I chose to have the surgery abroad because it's cheaper and the conditions of the hospitals are at a high standard, however, it hasn't stopped my family from pleading me not to go. What have your experiences been like? Would you have surgery abroad? How did your family react?
  10. WOW! you really are prepared! have you had to lose any weight before the surgery?
  11. Awesome! Yes, I've been told Scotland is beautiful. I have never been but I would love to! Yes, I have cut down on coffee and luckily I've never had a thing for carbonated drinks. I do need to drink a lot more water though. Thanks for your advice! and good luck!
  12. Awesome! How's it going? and how much are you expected to lose before surgery?
  13. Oh, I'd like to hear something about this too.
  14. AWESOME! You look amazing! Running a marathon is one of my goals once I drop the weight!
  15. Hi All! I'm so happy to have found this forum! I'm 24 yrs old from London, UK, and i am due to have my weight loss surgery (abroad! eek!) in next month!! Anyone else from the UK/Europe? Anyone else having their weight loss surgery in September? how do you feel and how are you preparing for it? ANY TIPS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED! I'd love to hear from you!
