I work from home at a desk job. Took two full weeks off. Biggest hurdle for me was the exhaustion during the day. Had to take a nap during my lunch break. Don’t rush going back if you don’t have to. Give your body as much time to rest and heal as possible.

47-sleeved July 10th. Worst right now is the Hair loss but I’m managing!

I can so relate. I used to drive with the windows down even on the coldest days. When I was at my heaviest I was ALWAYS hot! Now I need the socks on and the sweatshirt on and don’t like the windows down. Guess it’s a good sign!🎉🎊

Hi. Couldn’t sleep so perusing my fav site. Came upon your post. Yes. My anxiety has gotten worse since I had the surgery. I suffered from an anxiety disorder before surgery but it seems to have gotten worse since. I try to use meditation and try to relax when possible. I am a nurse and am a single mom working two jobs. Not easy. Be kind To yourself. Try to take baby steps. Sounds like you have a very busy life but you have to find even fifteen minutes here and there to close your eyes and regroup. Yes. I had pain with swallowing and going down in the beginning if I swallowed too big a bite and didn’t chew enough. The pain was bad. I hope things gets easier for you soon.

Hope you all start feeling better. I’m five months out from being sleeved and I remember in the beginning how tender you have to be to your new tummy. It will get better and easier with time.
