T-2 days till surgery!

Getting ready to have surgery on Monday. Excited but then have bouts of being SUPER scared and nervous! Wondering how it’s going to be and if I’m going to have regrets. I want to know I made the right decision. ? after 5 months of preparing, years of failed diets and regains, I made this decision. And I can’t help but feeing nervous and wondering if it was the right one. Anybody else feel that way?

Hi BrookeP21, I told my surgeon I was having second thoughts on the day of surgery! Luckily I came to my senses . This is a life changing event, so of course you're going to be nervous. To me the WLS was worth it. Everything I went through to get to this point was worth it. Good luck to you.

That was big for me bc when I would diet I would get myself so hungry that I'd binge on whatever it was then feel bad. Now I never get hungry.
Good luck Monday!! Welcome to the club!!
Still have mental cravings (bad habits) and weaknesses but I'm learning and trying to retrain my brain. I've had slip ups too. I just get back up and try and do better next time. Usually you can. I find that making better choices is easier when you don't have that ravenous feeling.
Are you sleeving or banding?

I am having a sleeve done. I’m excited to finally be here.....just nervous which I’m learning is super common haha
It is!! Think my surgery was like 45 min long.
I also had a hiatal hernia repair as well.
You will do great. My favorite thing is my clothes getting so baggy.
Start weight was 238. Day of surgery was 221 and currently I'm 167. Goal is 135-140. Hell I'm just glad to be in the, as someone else put it in "1-derland". Been a long time since I had seen the 100s!
