Feel like I should have lost more weight by now
Doing well. Water intake is good. I agree. We started at a lower weight. Glad you’re doing well. Keep in touch.

Feel like I should have lost more weight by now
Thatch! How are you? I’m going to keep sticking with the plan and I’ll reach my goal. I just see some people on here losing so much faster. I desperately want to get below 200.

Feel like I should have lost more weight by now
Hi all. I was 248 the day I walked into surgeons office. Had sleeve July 10th. Now 215. I feel like I should have lost more by now. Doing everything I’m told to do except have been limited to mostly walking as my form of exercise. I’m very sore and still get periods of exhaustion but it’s getting better. I know slow and steady wins the race but I feel like I should have lost more by now.

Does anyone use Twinlab Daily One Caps?
Hi all. I was taking celebrate chewables but started vomiting them up. The Twinlab are capsules that I believe I’ll swallow no problem. Anyone else take these?

3.5 weeks post op and can’t stomach protein drinks
Hi all. I was sleeved 7/10 and am now in the puréed phase. Up until a couple of days ago I relied on premier protein drinks to help achieve my protein intake goals for the day but yesterday all of a sudden I can’t tolerate them. I feel nauscious and like I can’t drink them. Has this happened to anyone else?

Summer 2018 Surgery Buddies: POST-OP Discussion
Yeah it hurts to see my parents eat normally and I can’t. I’ve never been a jealous person so the experience has been a little uncomfortable. I just need to wait it out. This is about me being healthy, and once I’m completely healthy maybe I’ll be able to have a cheat day. It does get easier once you’re able to progress through the food stages. I’m on puréed now and I’m tolerating meats. Just being able to eat meat made a world of difference to me.

Summer 2018 Surgery Buddies: POST-OP Discussion
I can relate. I was sleeved on July 10th and coming home I was very depressed, especially when I saw my kids eating regular foods. It’s a loss and we have to come to terms with the fact that we will never eat the way we used to again. I am dying for some potato chips but I know it would be counter productive for me to have any. It will get easier. Hang in there.

My vitamins made me throw up :(
I bought celebrate chewables and have to take my multi in pieces because it makes me vomit. I can tolerate it in small pieces broken up. Take celebrate B12 sublingual quick melt and bariatric advantage chewy bite calcium citrate with d3. Those I tolerate twice a day no problem.

Yes. I’ve had good luck with it. Not aware of any problems with long term use.

Heartburn Meds
I had pretty bad gerd before surgery so was on it. Haven’t had one hint of it after surgery. I’m still taking my Pepcid twice a day.

July Sleeve
Yes. Me too. 3 to 4 bites and I’m done. If I push it it’s like a lead weight in my stomach. I want real meat so badly. Like a meatball or prime rib.
