  1. Ahhhhh! By now you’ve gone in and may be done by now and in recovery! I’m thinking of you! You’re probably in right now. Sending light and positive thoughts your way.
  2. I was a nervous wreck the night before surgery and finally decided to deep breath and calm down. I had faith in my surgeon and the hospital team who would be working on me. I had done my research on the boards and knew that I would probably be in pain when I came out of surgery but I would have the PCA pump and addl meds if needed. All turned out absolutely fine. I’m post op day five now and doing great. Being nervous is totally normal. Meditate. Deep breathe. Take a walk. This is a glorious new beginning!
  3. Fluids in general. And I’m tolerating protein shakes.

  16. What type of surgery will you be having done? Depends on the job requirements you have. You can’t life for several weeks and you truly need rest to recouperate. I had the sleeve done on the 10th and I return to work on the 23rd. I am a registered nurse but work from home on the computer. Wanted to give myself enough time to rest and get into a good drinking pattern. Don’t be in a rush to get back. Listen to your body. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  17. Well I’m day four post op. Every day has gotten a little better. Really drinking well. Having jello and ice pops as well as water. Will try broth later on today. No more nausea thank goodness.
