Figured it's time to post some damned photos. Yesterday was my one year surgiversary. Before photo is morning of surgery. I was down to 318 at the time of surgery. When I started my journey I was 354 and 336 at the start of the 2 week pre-op diet. Currently coming in at 232. Ways to go yet and things have slowed down a lot in the past few months, but I'm okay with that. My main reason for having WLS was due to chronic sciatica that was destroying my life and thankfully I feel like I have it back again. I'm not the poster child for WLS but still happy with where I've gotten to in the past year.

Btw...my after shirt is really too big on me and hate that it makes me look like I still have a huge gut. I'm not brave enough to post the shirtless photos...lol

I’m almost 9 months post-op. 235 to 160 pounds.

Hi sleevers!! So this is my progress pic so far! On the left we have me at 5'8 314 pounds. This pic was taken 2 days before my surgery on August 18,2017 and in the right this photo was taken the other day and i am down 67 pounds! My weight now is 247! Trying to hit 200 by my bday (end of April) but I am so glad I put myself on this journey! I'm starting my YT (under victoria shadoan) blogs for fitness and healthy eating this weekend so please subscribe for recipes and on my Instagram! I used to shy away from cameras and never took a selfie in my life. My confidence sucked and I refused to look in a mirror.I hated getting dressed up cause everything was uncomfortable. Now I embrace getting dressed up, in fact I tend to overdress at times to events just cause everything fits and looks good on me. My confidence is high and I feel great. One year out last week!!!
My wife went from having the fattest husband out of all the parents to having the damn hottest husband..LOL... (yeah, Im in the vain phase...lol) But shes not complaining much

Today is my first surgerversary! I've been in a 3 month stall. With RNY, I accomplished my loss without any strenuous exercise (due to a heart condition). I'm 25lbs away from goal weight and I feel great!

I don't have a problem using mine. Apart from if I have a new lover, then I hide it in my wardrobe [emoji85]

I have Slept with a Cpap for over 12 years. Put it on every night. It takes some getting use to, but I find that most people aren’t persistent & give up on it to easily & too soon.

I like Premier Protein Clear that I get from Sam's.

Premier Protein is really good.

I have Aetna and did the 90 day regimen. Your weigh-ins should start at the surgeons. Also each weigh-in day at surgeon or weight loss center will be combined with a nutrition visit so you knock out 2 birds with one stone...

@chrisb428 i will definitely keep you posted hopefully it goes smoothly! For the most part I’ve heard Aetna is pretty simple. Keep me updated as well
