  1. Thats funny Tyler!
  2. YAY bandfan. That is so awesome.
  3. PJTP....I'm sick...I have the crud. I think a Mac truck drove through my bedroom last night and hit me. I have been fighting it for days and thought I was winning. I felt really good yesterday. Then when I tried to sleep I started hacking up a lung. Took Nyquil and slept for a little while. Then woke up because my body is hurting. I don't have a fever so that is good. I am drinking hot tea right now. I don't want breakfast, but probably should eat a little something hot. Then more Nyquil. I think it will be my new BF for a few days.
  4. I agree with Miss Flipflops...go to youe LB Dr. and get checked under fluro. They might need to unfill you for a few weeks. I would rather be checked and be safe then not be checked and maybe something wrong. Waiting could be the difference between easy treatment or a long hard treatment. Please let us know how your doing.
  5. I got noticed by my ex fiance. He gave me a new years hug and his new phone#. I see him all the time and remain friendly towards him. The last time he asked me out I told him I was better than that. Long story short....he broke up with me because his family didn't like fat people. Last time he asked me out, he said we could sneak around. NOT! Then I told him what I thought. The reason I see him is because he works at the store I shop at all the time. Besides this way I can rub it in a little at a time!
  6. Dr.s Britt and Groves are no longer comming to Madison. You have to go to their Guntersville office or their Albertville office. I recieved a call last week from them about it.
  7. I hate to admit it but I miss plain and ceradad. Happy belated Miztr and welcome.
  8. I use map quest, but always double check it with others. I have been lost several times from wrong directions from map quest. I used to be a delivery driver and am very map oriented. I hate being lost. I like paper maps also.
  9. Patti...What a wonderful NSV. Off some of your meds. I have had another NSV.. I cried and still am tearing up some...some of you will understand this one others who haven't been as big might not.....but I was trying on old clothes this morning and a lot of the older ones fits me again...great, but a little while ago I decided to use the tape messure on my hips...It actually touched! No more guessing how many inches in between the ends. Is it 5" or 6". I didn't do my messurements when I had the surgery because of how much I had to guess. This is very emotional for me. Even though I see the scale moving and clothes fitting it just wasn't regeristering 100%. Now it is. I can look at pics and actually notice a difference! This is so awesome to me.. Sorry so long and rambling!
  10. Morning all. I can't believe I actually slept till after 8:00. I haven't slept that late since I don't know when! My norm is between 4-5 a.m. I feel out of sorts. Like I am behind. I have my Gazelle back! Yay! I started using it last night. Long story short, Gazelle was DD's, she moved left it here. She traded it for my DS's because hers was smaller. DS didn't like this 1 cause it was to big for her place. She gave it to me. So it is home and I am using it again. Technically it wasn't mine, but for 2 yrs. I had used it on and off. More so after surgery. LJM...glad your feeling good. You don't get rest in the hospital. I think it is a rule! LOL Susan... good luck with the sweet 16 party. CC...love your pic. So far no binge eating with oldest DD and DGD living here. So that is good. I guess we haven't gotten on each others nerves yet. LOL Everyone have a good day.
  11. I forgot about the I'm here to help thread. so here is the posting for it... http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f260/im-here-help-64725/
  12. Welcome. I applaud you for getting the help you need and getting back on track. I am sorry that I can't help you any. But I can encourage you. We have a great site here. Lots of caring people. Maybe the threads Lap Band strugglers or the 12 step support group might help you. Just ask away and we will do the best that we can. Good luck and keep us posted.
  13. I would go see your LB Dr. It could be a slipped band. I would go ASAP. Good luck to you.
  14. Well this stinks. Anyone in N. Al. & Lower Tn. that was banded by Dr. Groves / Britt and gets their fills done in Madison.....Well I just got a call and they are no longer going to be doing fills in Madison. We have to go to one of their offices on Guntersville/ Albertville. I have an appointment at 8:00 am on the 21. Now I have to find the office in Guntersville for that one. I know his Albertville office. I hope I he will still be doing it under fluro.
  15. Cool Mac! enjoy it.
  16. Yes updated ticker first thing. Called my sister and bragged a little while ago. It feels good bragging to her. I am so close to 50 lbs lost. I really can't tell much of a difference at times. Then other times it is like Oh My Gosh! The pics at Christmas made me look fatter than when I first started 46 lbs ago. Income tax time I have to get some new over the shoulder boulder holders:smile:. Mine are getting to big. This time I will get professionally fitted. cups are really getting big. I don't want to lose anymore there. A "c" is a good size. But who knows if I get proper fit and hold....
  17. Well yesterday was my last day of the 5 day p.t. Official weight loss this morning was 6 lbs. YAY!!!! I am so happy. I will definitely use this when I plateau. I think it would be great then. What a new year this is going to be. My goal is that I will be down 80-100 lbs. by bandiversary! Which is totally do-able. I made a NYs resolution years ago not to make any more NYs resolutions, but this yr. I am. I am going to exercise on a regular basis instead of haphazardly. How is everyone else doing? Great I hope.
  18. Here is the 5 day pouch test. http://www.5daypouchtest.com/plan/day3.html It is kinda hard the first couple of days but well worth it. This will help jump start you back on the right track. Here is also another LBT thread that might help you. It is other bandsters who is doing the pouch test. Good luck and keep us posted. http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f178/starting-holiday-detox-early-anyone-wanna-join-me-84070/
  19. Here is the 5 day pouch test. It really is difficult the first day or two but well worth it. I have lost 6 lbs doing it and my finale day was yesterday. It helped me get back on track. Also go to the site Luluc posted. I wish you luck. keep us posted. Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test
  20. Yep you must have been a VERY good boy! Enjoy it.
  21. :party:Beth and LJM I read your post in the other forum....way to funny.....and so lost on them. I am on day 5 of the 5 day pouch test and have lost 5 lbs. The 4 I gained over the hollidays and 1 extra....yay me! I can really tell a difference in the feel of my stoma (sp) and on how much I eat. So whom ever else is doing this other than BBK good luck!
  22. Beth, don't feel bad. I am having trouble with FB also.:frown: I have 1/2 of the right side missing on it. It has been like that from day 1. I can read part of the boxes but not all. It is like some one covered it with a peice of paper.
