My daughter just got one. She is learning how to use it.

I have enjoyed reading your blogs. They remind me that this has many new learning curves. Even after 1 yr. I am still learning.

I hated mine. I had one about 2 yrs ago. The moter burned up in it in 2 months. I kept trying different things and everything seemed to come out as patee'. But I am glad you like yours. Hopefully your moter won't burn up quickly.

Get in to see your doctor ASAP! You are either to tight or your band has slipped. You can become dehydrated and end up with some serious issues!

Sorry things didn't work out with the engagement. But something better for you is out there and will happen. Just have patience. Do like lilith said, take some me time to figure things out and relax. The world will still be there. Recoup, regroup, rethink. When you are almost near goal your body slows way down. You will eventually get there, or rethink your goal. Sometimes our body has a different idea of where it wants to be at. If it is within a few lbs, you might need to say I am ok with this and I am now at my new goal. Say I love myself everyday into a mirror. It may sound silly but it really does help after a couple of weeks. Say it with conviction and a smile at yourself.

That is awesome! I am hitting the thrift stores. IMHO it is better for me than buying new clothes that I am going to lose out of. That sounds so funny, lose out of instead of grow out of.

If you want to sleep on your side make sure you put a pillow under your tummy. That way it helps hold your tummy up and even. Good luck with getting everything in order and the rest of your journey!

You are stronger than I am. I used to love Krispy Kreme just the plain glazed (except at Thanksgiving time and they have the pumpkin ones), but no longer like them. But the carrot cake MMMMMMMMMM. That and spice cake are my favorites. So I don't make them any more. I know me and I would eat way to much of them. Sounds like you really did a good job ay sticking to your guns.

Hey Band Groupie...sounds very hectic in your life right now. I would be ansy also and peeved at the Dr.'s office if they weren't contacting me back. The leaky pipes..I understand. I wear pads while I am awake for the just in case sneeze or cough and belly laugh. It is getting better with the more weight I lose. What part of Ohio? I am originally from Mansfield. My birthday was a few weeks ago. I turned 50. On my birthday I received not 1 but 2 items from the AARP! So far the only b-day I had problems with was my 30th. I am getting better with age, like a fine wine. Having the LB is helping me get better. I am eating healthier and looking some better. So have a Happy (early) 50th Birthday!

I have always liked my veggies, but loved my meat! Now I have to remind myself to eat the protein first. If I don't I eat my veggies and don't get enough protein in. Some times I will just put the protein on my plate and eat it then get my veggies. Isn't a great feeling?

Hollie I feel for you. I can identify with the drugs and sex just to get people to like you. Even tho I knew it was for all the wrong reasons. I had self hatered because of incest as a small child. I think I had a death wish because of the drugs. I drove like a maniac (I should have crashed). God kept me alive for a reason tho. But like you, it is what has made me. I am a stronger person for it. Keep the positive going. I also would talk to your mother and explain how it hurts you even tho you know it isn't meant to be that way. Good luck
