I'm a size 12!!

Its been a while since I posted to my blog....so I guess now is a perfect time. I am now a size 12:thumbup: I weigh 186. In the begining I haven't did any measurements so I'm not sure what my waist line was. But about 2 weeks ago it was 44 in. Now its 38 in.

I brought some clothes for the first time today. My sister gave me a lot of her clothes and plus I had clothes in my closet (size 14 and 16 that use to be too little) Now they are too big so I went shopping for the first time and it felt great. I brought a couple of nice outfits. Soon Im going to have to check out some Good Will stores. I am running out of stuff to wear!

Also I have inspired my daughter to lose weight. I'm happy about that. She is around 211. She lost 3 lbs so far and I am very proud of her. She also decided to play softball this year. She's 13 years old and very shy. So we both are doing this toghter!

That is awesome! I am hitting the thrift stores. IMHO it is better for me than buying new clothes that I am going to lose out of. That sounds so funny, lose out of instead of grow out of.

It is also great about your daughter. Tell her your buddies on LB are rooting for her. Both on the weight loss and softball. Good luck to the both of you!

Congrats on making it to a size 12!!! You must feel incredible. I was really happy to read about your daughter's decisions - more than I was read of your success. It’s a beautiful thing that you have inspired your daughter to take better care of herself and to get up and get out. One of my big reasons for taking this journey is so that I can help to prevent my daughter from ever living in FATLAND. I want her to learn to value healthy living and being active. Obviously, you have already reached that goal with your daughter. BEST OF WISHES to You!!!!!

yes, congrats to YOU! wow, size 12 wow! great work. I was happy to read your blog, it's been awhile since we have ckd on each other, so happy for you. I am kinda stalled, but hope to move that scale down alittle this month coming up. Have a reunion to attend and I want to be under 200, even if it says 199! keep us posted. Glad to hear your daughter is teaming up with you, great!
